12-15V AC seems a rare combination and likely will require a separate PSU.
I have 12-15V DC at my big board (and I assume the voltage change will act as gain knob), but AC?

I don't think that's what it's designed for really. There are number of gigging bassists who just need a quality sounding preamp section to drive a power amp or a powered cab. I am certainly one of those. I have zero need for all those extraneous (for me,) features that take up space and drive up cost. I've literally zero need for Aux in or Headphones or any of that...just want a quiet, clean, musical sounding preamp with a good DI to stick at the end of my pedalboard.

I could care less about the headphone jack as I’ve never used one and don’t see myself ever using it. I’m looking forward to getting mine.

...or as a preamp to DI your signal to the FOH, which you get back in your in-ears.

This is by far the best Preamp Di I’ve played it owned. The diverse tones is easy to dial in and it’s smooth and powerful. Worth every penny.
