There is one common thing in Canada that I don't understand... A lot of Canadians absolutely hate people from Toronto.
Canadians don't always support or own... I think we're a little disappointed that Justin Bieber is our own, and though I know of some people up here (like me wife) who love Drake, I think he's more popular in the States. He actually seems to get a lot of flack up here... Like Nickelback.
I respect Drake and what he's done for Toronto (not just his loyalty to the city and its sport clubs, but I appreciate some of the small businesses and stuff he's bought too), but his music just isn't for me... Truthfully, I'm shocked he was the Canadian MC that made it in the US.
You're missing the almighty RAZER, EXCITER, BLASPHEMY, SLAUGHTER (not the wimpy one).. the list goes on. Canada has a great metal scene with heaps of international recognition.
Beyond Creation is awesome. In Quebec we produce some great metal band known internationnaly like Beyond Creation, Voivoid and Kataklism. Alain Caron is also from here ... just like Uzeb is.
She made him seem like such an ass, which wreaked havoc with my childhood... But after watching Bob Saggat's standup, I quickly realized the Full House cast wasn't as wholesome as I had anticipated.
Also, I think Flea played bass on that one... Listening to it again, he does a really good job on it.
Also, I just read the lyrics on this song and I never knew it went, "It's not fair to deny me / Of the cross I bear that you gave to me"...
I always thought he gave her a cross-eyed (teddy) bear.
I've heard a fair bit of triumph's catalog. I'm surprised that the OP's exemplar song for them is Lay it on the line. In the Midwest USA where I grew up, Magic Power and to a lesser degree Fight the Good Fight were more well known. I have one Rik Emmett solo disc too. Shame he and the others didn't get along, but then again I liked the songs where he sang lead much better than the ones with the other guy.
I've heard some Max Webster, hence Kim Mitchell, but only because of the Battlescar connection with Rush.
I remember liking the Glass Tiger song don't forget me when I'm gone when I was in high school. Probably got airplay because of the guest appearance by Bryan Adams, who was big at the time.
I'm surprised Red Rider didn't make the list, Lunatic Fringe got airplay where I lived. I was surprised when I heard the Life is a Highway song, not what I expected based on the Lunatic Fringe song.
I would say that many of the Quebecers who go down to Florida are a certain type of Quebecer and certainly not representative of many of the people up here. I just came back from a trip to Cuba a couple of weeks ago and the part of the trip that killed me was the flight to-and-from. I just couldn't take the types of tourists who were going down to Cuba to eat, drink and turn their skin into beef jerky (they were all from Quebec).I used to ride into Ontario quite often from Ohio, and the farther North I got, the friendlier and nicer the people were.
Now, I'm in S. Fla. and most everyone here 'extremely dislikes', or 'hates' those from Quebec. Just a different type of people.
The Tea Party not on the list? Like Zepplin and The Doors in a blender. First two albums are top notch.

Actually, I much prefer Magic and I was going to use it but I thought "Lay it on the line" was more popular.
