that's awesome. At what point did you know who the buyer was?One of my biggest regrets as a bass sale was a CIJ Jaguar I sold on Craigslist. The only thing that softened the blow to my heart was that he bought it. It's not everyday that one of your basses winds up in god's hands.
No.Ric's aren't my cup of tea, but I wouldn't call someone creepy for wanting to own one.
It is a legit question, not appropriate, but it is legit.No.
But to want HIS bass before he's been "interred" is.
I'm thinking it would be pretty rad if Lemmy's bass got together with Chris Squire's bass and had a party. Maybe they could invite Paul McCartney's bass as well. Perhaps even Geddy Lee's bass would stop by.
And insensitive.
I watched a doco recently where i think he said he wanted the laurel n hardy theme tune played at the funeral. think it was called something like "live hard die old"
not sure if anyone ever asked him what he wanted done with the bass but i assume he would've replied with something like "ill be dead, I could't give a f*&%". or "I hope it goes on tour with a rock band and is around a lot of coke booze and naked ladies". most likely just "F*&^ off"
And a bad speller. Don't forget bad speller.
Yeah, kinda of distasteful.IDK why this thread escalated so fast, but c'mon guys, it's New Years... really?
Yeah the hashtags really push it over the edge. Hashtags deserve a fist full of rings. #ihatehashtags #drmartindentalwork #fistfullofrings #civilizationisoverbecauseofhastagsOther than insensitive and creepy... The hashtags... Ugh
