One of my biggest regrets as a bass sale was a CIJ Jaguar I sold on Craigslist. The only thing that softened the blow to my heart was that he bought it. It's not everyday that one of your basses winds up in god's hands.

Understandable. But just remember the context. In the 50s and 60s in England, so soon after the war, it was a serious FU to sport Nazi imagery. To Lemmy and his generation it symbolized rebellion.

Anyone who is genuinely interested and waits an "appropriate" amount of time would likely end up at the back of a very long line. With likely little to no chance at owning it other than at auction. And if that person is a genuine fan, why would wanting a bass be creepy? They loved the man.
