Just got this one last week and I'm so amazed by the sound I get from it

I use a pedaltrain mini with only a few effects (Cali 76 BC, B7K Ultra) and I power it with a Volto 2 so the setup is really lightweight and convenient.

I really like being able to set it and forget it, sometimes I run it in the loop of my amp so the sound coming out of the speaker is even closer to the output sound of the OCSD.

At home I even practise with a headset now as I can now get a good sound without going through my amp/speake.

Really a fantastic device, I'm trying to make my guitar player buy one to control the sound he's sending to the PA as he tends to have a not-so-good sound live when the soundguys mic his amps. At our level they don't really care that much :/

Out of curiosity, I've seen more than one person retain an HPF such as the Thumpinator along with the OSCD even though the OSCD has a similar impact. Why?

EDIT: I get it. Guess I'm still waking up. You can dial in the low end sound while still filtering out unnecessary low end mud.

My OCSD is now my “pre” since I’ve sold my amp, and run into my mixer and power amp/PA all the time.

Apologies if this has been discussed before. Just wondering if you can come out of an amp DI post EQ into the OCSD? Or would it need to be from an FX send instead?

The input is mic and line levels only. Feeding it FX send and preamp output will work (3.5" jack) but NOT power amplifier output (which would fry your pedal).

You can use a pot a post DI no problem.

It's funny that out of the 3 pedals that I currently own, the highest (the Mesa Subway DI) only has a serial number that is in the '500s. Maybe I'm a bass hipster.
Congratulations on the 500 units Daniel, here's hoping for 1,000 sooner than later and then many more milestones. Still as thrilled to have the OCSD in my chain as I was when I first got it.
