Just so everyone's clear, I have my Aftershock poised to replace my trusty VT Bass v2, an EWS Trilogic III, a blender and a noise gate. It's a good day when one new pedal exceeds that four-way combo

Bob Chidlaw built his own DIY Rat pedal many years ago. This has served as our starting point. The Aftershock gives 3 flavors: 1) Guitar OFD, 2) Bass OFD, 3) new and improved 2016 version.Anyone tried the Rat algorithm? Curious if it could replace my Blower Box

What website is that designer from? It doesn't look like pedalboardplanner.com?I am definitely going to get the Aftershock as soon as I'm able to set the funds aside for it.
I already have a layout in mind:
AMP <= SA Nemesis Delay (with SA Tap Tempo switch to change presets) <= Dunlop CBM105Q (Cry Baby Mini Bass Wah) <= SA Aftershock Bass Distortion <= TC Electronic PolyTune 2 <= DigiTech Bass Whammy <= BASS

I have everything except the Aftershock and the wah, which will be filling those reserved spaces as soon as they show up on store shelves.![]()

It was announced earlier this year. It's just a much smaller version of the Cry Baby Bass Wah, and it has all of the same features (level and Q controls, spring-loaded auto-return design, etc.).
Between the OFD and Aftershock, it really comes down to your particular goals. I love my OFD, and it's been on my board since it was first released. I just have a few very specific plans in mind for the Aftershock that I can't do with the OFD.
I just did a quick mockup in Microsoft Publisher using stock images from the web that I cleaned up a bit, and resized them based on the actual dimensions of each item. I've always preferred to do it myself rather than use an existing tool.![]()
