NUX B-5RC Guitar Wireless System - "Auto off" Mode

Guys, I play in the church before the mass, then sit and play again after 45 minutes.
The mixer sits away from me and no one sits next to it.
When I play again after 45 minutes, the unit that's plugged into my guitar already went into "Auto-off" mode, which I'll press on it to bring it back to life.
For the unit that's plugged into the mixer, do I need also someone to press on it to bring it to life, or will it detect that the guitar side is active now and connects back?

According to the manual, you'll need someone to turn it back on. Here's the manual: NUX B-5RC User Manual

One question. Do you already have this wireless unit or are you planning to buy it? If you haven't bought it yet, then I'd suggest getting the newer C-5RC, which operates on the 5.8 GHZ band. My brother bought the B-5RC about 2 years ago and likes it a lot, but he does get some occasional interference from Wi-Fi signals because it operates on the increasingly crowded 2.4 GHz band. Based on his experience, I recently bought the C-5RC and I haven't seen that problem. I've used it on about 4 or 5 gigs since buying it and have had no dropouts at all.

I really like the case that is also a portable charger. That makes it more expensive than the most inexpensive $50 fob-style wireless units, but I plug my wireless back into the charger between sets and can do a four hour gig with no trouble.

Thanks a lot, I tested it by turning the transmitter off, disconnected it from my guitar for 40 minutes, then turned it on. It connected back automatically and was able to play through the mixer with no issue.
Got the C model, I thought that the B model is the newest one, that's why I ordered it
Will read more about the C one and if so, I'll try to return this and get the C type.

Interesting, the manual doesn't describe that behavior. I'll have to check my unit to see if the receiver will automatically turn back on the "C" model. I doubt I'll take advantage of it since I always have access to my amp and turn off my units and also unplug the transmitter from my bass (so I'm not using the preamp's battery). But it's good to know if it works that way.

Speaking of preamp... I don't know what kind of bass you're playing, but I've seen here on TB and in product descriptions (including that of the NUX systems) that active basses sometimes cause problems with a wireless system. I've used the NUX with four basses with active preamps (two Stingrays, an L-2500, and a parts Jazz with an Audere preamp) and none of those basses have had issues with the NUX wireless. I do carry an extension cord that would attach the transmitter to the strap to put distance between it and the preamp, but I haven't had a situation where I had to use it (yet?).

FWIW, I've also use those basses with a Shure GLXD16 (no longer use it, was waiting for them to come out with a 5.8 GHz version, which they just announced a week ago), a Lekato 5.8 GHz system, a Lekato UHF system, and a Getarria 5.8 GHz system. None of those had any problems with those active basses, either. But, as I said, I do carry an extension cord for the transmitter just in case it does happen.

Per the manual, and my experience, "Auto Off function - If there is no signal for 1 O minutes, the transmitter will tum off automatically to save battery power. Since the transmitter turned off, the receiver will turn off after 10 more minutes.

So, I'm trying to find a work around. I really like the device but am also a church player and have the same 45 minute gap. I don't have time to turn both units back on am therefore only using the Nux at home. Have you found a solution?

No, not at all. I just thought it'd be nice to clear some of the wires/clutter where I stand in a tight corner at church. I'm back to using a cable because of the auto shutoff feature. Currently, the NUX is stationed at home and that's nice not having another wire cable wrapped around me ...
I've obviously got first world problems here.
