Obligitory new guy greeting.

Hello folks. I used to post here many years ago but no longer recall my former user name. After giving up booze and stepping away from music for a while I have found myself quite happy playing in two local bands and carrying on the eternal hunt for "that" tone.

I've been trolling for a few weeks now reading the finer points of the VT Bass DI, power/pre set ups vs. dedicated bass heads and all sorts of stomp box reviews.

I'm looking forward to asking many a foolish question and perhaps a few exceptionally good ones as well.
