The Good Rats were not well received when I saw them in Rochester, NY. The crowd that afternoon was most unreceptive to the toy rats they threw at us.

My guess is neither the Gregg Khin Band nor David Lindley and El-Rayo X are "obscure". Certainly I frame them both fondly as 70s bands, and it's been since the 80s since I saw David Lindley.

Bought this when it came out and it's still great.



Same with this one. Hustler should have been famous.

Fun fact: The chap walking down an alley and whistling (between "Get outta my house" and "Jack the lad" @ 20:09) on the Hustler album is one of my dearest friends for 35+ years. He wasn't in Hustler, he worked for their publicist. He is, however, one hell of a bass player.

But yeah, Hustler were great.
