I've been getting into searching obscure 70s rock bands (thanks Youtube!). I've been looking for bands that don't have members that later became famous that rocked but never made it big. Here's an example:

Stepson
They put out their one and only studio album in 1974. Really like the singer (Jeff Hawks - on this track he reminds me of Lenny Kravitz at times) and guitarist (Joey Newman). Here's probably their 'best known' song from the album:



Have you got any other unknown 70s bands to share?

Jerusalem (British) were playing certain genres long before they came into existence. Never became famous, but are now a major cult band Worldwide, 45 years later. Invalid Link Removed

Cool have to check Jerusalem out. Found another one - Bang. They reformed and are touring - played NYC last night and are going to tour in Europe:

String Driven Thing - the drummer from that band, was playing with us right up until just over a month ago.
He moved on to another project.

My old band mate is playing with a revamped Moxy... small world.
