Informations on theses basses are quite difficult to find in France (thank you internet...) ; even the original bill mentions "R" bass brand...

Couldn't buy a Wave, so I quenched my GAS with this and a sweet 66 Ampeg B-18n

The road case was a very unexpected bonus. 47 pounds empty. Inside I found the instructions and warranty card.

So I bought Deoxit...Don't need any yet. Both my amp and bass are dead silent unless I am playing. Love the Varitone on the Mock! I did restring it last night too. Now the bad news. No serial number on the Bass. Neck was stripped, and refinished. Seller says 1984. I think it's earlier. I don't care. Except for not being a Wave, it's KILLER!

Lorne, I will take some more pictures with good light, at some point someone stripped the neck, and back of headstock. This neck plays sweet, it is much thinner than the other three BC Rich basses I owned. I will take some measurements too. I believe this to be pre 1985 handmade USA, so I bought it in spite of the refinished neck, and no serial #.

Hey Guys, Can anyone tell me what this is? Bolt on, no serial,no neck plate. Made in USA on headstock,ebony fretboard,Badass II bridge. I've had it for a few years now and haven't seen one exactly like it. Thanks in advance!

It's a ST bass, Class Axe by the look of it, it might have a stamped Cxxxxx or CAxxxx number on the rear of the headstock

Thanks Lorne, I have a ST Platinum series in blue that when you compare the two, the black one has higher quality, much heavier. Maybe its a frankenbass of some sort. Thanks again.
