I got it! Finally I went this evening to see and check the B.C. Rico Eagle I wrote some posts above. 
It has some dings and scratches, some oxide in the bridge area primary, and one potentiometer post broken (the knob is safe and sound) but it sounds and looks really nice, so I bought it. It also feels lighter than my other basses and very comfortable.
I have to check the pot value to replace it, so meanwhile could someone date it? Serial is R2156.

Ah I see.
I did see that on ebay like ten minutes after I posted it.
Judging by the description, if I had to guess I would say it was just ordered by some guy like that. Nothing about it really screams customshop or anything to me. You could order a reverse neck from a store for like 75 bucks and that paint job couldve happened anytime.
I am not saying it wasnt made for any special, I just dont see anything to make me think that either lol.

My 1995 Innovator.. Pretty awesome - and thrilled to own it. Anyone who has info on it, I am glad to listen.. I am told it was a short run in 1995 special for the 96 NAMM show. One of 40 units.. all sold there. Pretty awesome if true.

I would say Exclusive rather than lonely.I think the shapes tend to scare some folks, and then they miss out one some of the finer basses and guitars made.
I would agree with that assessment. I removed the finish on my mid '80s NJ Eagle, and the wood underneath very nice. See for yourself.

This one was a mess of a bird that I got from a pawn shop in Charlotte in 2007. It is a BC Rich NJ, built in '84 according Lorne. It does have a small crack on the back of the headstock, but that was not even noticeable until I stripped the finish. This is still my favorite bass that I have ever owned. It does have flaws, but it just sounds right and plays great. I tried swapping the Dimarzios for some SD quarter pounders a few years ago, but I ended up liking the Diamrzios better, so back in went they went.

Mine had a very obvious crack repair at the base of the headstock, but was otherwise virtually identical. I Ebayed it in 2005, don't remember where it went. I really miss that one, played hundreds of gigs with it, along with my one and only Nashville recording session Will see if I can find pix to upload.

I dont know much about them, though I have a few pictures of them.

Yep, definitely a US Innovator - the knob switch configuration is different than in others I've seen - it's a keeper for me (for now..) LOL

I think that top toggle was added after it left the factory.
The pictures I have of other US Innovators, and a matter of fact some NJ Innovators (including one I own) have that same setup, but with a knob (pot) instead of a toggle.

Mind if I join guys, this is my Zombie Revenge, it currently lives at my old mans house so I have something to play when I go there. Now I'm in a band might get it shipped back as it would look killer on stage
