Need some assistance from the aficionados here. My daughter wants to move on from her "pointy bass" phase, so she's asked me to help her sell her Warlock. I have no idea how to price this thing. It's in overall pretty good shape, a few dings and minor chips on the points. Definitely has player wear, but it cleans up and presents nice. Single humbucker and passive controls.
I know it's made in China, and if I decoded the serial# correctly, was made in 2008. It's a Revenge (sub series?...) Warlock. Prices seem to be kinda all over the place from my research. A couple pics included, because TB.
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA

EDIT: Not sure why the pictures are showing as attachments. Still haven't completely wrapped my head around the"new" TB I guess.

They retailed for $299 back in 2011 when they were first released. It was basically a Warlock without the beveled edges. I don't know what the current value would be. I don't really see a lot of them for sale so maybe you can push it a bit and see what happens.

Maybe some others will have some better input.

Couple new additions

1984 Wave, guy hit me up on here, made a deal happen, great bass, been enjoying her

1982 Mockingbird, guy hit me up on Facebook marketplace, weird part is this was my old bass, sold it in 2017 to Kebos in NJ, he bought it and it has been local since, he had no idea it used to be mine, I regretted selling and he drove it down from Portland to my front door

Wasn't looking to buy any yet ended up w two lol

Here's the Warlock Platinum Series I picked up at a pawnshop for $120. I had to fix the nut, which had been cut too deep on two strings, by partially refilling the grooves with epoxy and recutting them. That solved the serious buzzing on the open strings and first couple of frets. Then I adjusted the truss rod and bridge saddles, and had to touch up a slightly high fret, and now it plays almost as well as my ancient Rick. It needed some rewiring, since the tone control had spun and torn a few wires loose, plus the output jack was bent and making intermittent contact. I eventually need to replace the tone pot, which doesn't turn without resorting to pliers, but it sounds fine at its current position. Unfortunately, almost every corner on this jagged instrument is dinged, and one of the horns atop the headstock has a thin slice missing.

I like the dimensions and playability of the neck a lot, and I'm using it for a couple of songs which need alternate tuning (Drop-D or E-flat). It has a suitable sound for them, as well. Finding a gig bag or case that fits it for less than twice what I paid for the instrument is becoming a problem. Trying to avoid impaling a band member with all those points is separate matter.

I'm revisiting my '76 Bodine and tonal options. Can anyone explain what exactly the one "Dual Sound" switch is doing? When it's up, it sounds like it's cutting out a little low end. And even though the boost switch is off, interestingly, turning the boost knob to about 9:00 adds some definition to the tone for me.

I would love to find my 1980 Eagle, which I stupidly sold in 1982 to buy things that I didn't need but thought I did at the time. I don't have a serial number or any way of tracking it down. It's a now-40-year dream which will sadly, probably not come true.

It's a natural gloss finish Eagle, which I purchased new in 1980 from Willcutt Guitars in Lexington, Ky. I sold it to some music store in Red Bank, NJ which is long defunct.

I think I might give Bob Willcutt a call and ask if he has any records of the purchase.. I'll report back.
