I really want an SVT, and if it came down to it, I would probably bust out the cash for one.

Have any of you SVT-CL users found that the amp sounds better with a cabinet other than the SVT-810? I need to spend more time with mine but my AccuGroove Tri210-L sounds better to my ears at this point in time...warmer tone, less muddy thunder.

Maybe one of the most underrated and underappreciated Ampeg cabs ever made. And, they stopped making them. If I had the choice of a PR410 or 410HLF, I'd grab the PR in a second. Great cab, wish I had one.
I couldn't be happier with it. It makes me grin from ear to ear. I've been playing GK heads and Hartke cabs steady for 15 of the 18 years I've been playing. I was ready for a change and took a friends recomendation on the Kustom Groovebass 1200 head and found a mint used one for $400. I then started looking for a new cab style and just had to try one of these PR's. I found this one in mint condition on craigslist in the upper west side NYC for $450. The cab only left the guys apartment one time to play at his son's school. Now I've got a $850 tone monster that I've never cranked past half volume. This cab has so much more presence than my Hartke 410XL even with the same head and I can't get over how well defined and punchy my lower notes are from open E through A. Those notes just seemed to wash out with the Hartke.

Hey, do any of y'all know anything about the BSE 410 H? It's a little compact 4x10, but I don't really know much more beyond that.
