SVT-3 Pro, SVT-48HE, SVT18, all made in the good ol' USA!
Nice. 8's and an 18 together.....I'm curious to how that setup sounds
Problem with that 3Pro rig, is they shouldn't be driven under 4 ohms. The 18 is already a 4 ohm cab. Ideally, if you want to run 2 cabs, they should both be 8 ohms. The 3Pro is in danger of burning up as it's set up now.
behind. The speaker level crossover would definitely help keep the load up.Yeah, I'm working under the assumption that the 18's impedance rises with increasing frequency, and the 4x8's impedance rises with decreasing frequency. At least that's the theory I'm hidingbehind. The speaker level crossover would definitely help keep the load up.
Except that it doesn't, to any meaningful degree. What it will do though, is seriously shorten the life of the 3Pro. Just trying to help a brother out. I wouldn't run that rig like that, if it were me.
I posted my Ampeg stuff before, but somewhere along the line they got deleted or lost - - these are from this morning:

No - I think it was deleted (by me) from photobucket....Deleted? Lost? You don't think the logo had anything to do with it, do you?
Otherwise, nice set up!
