The basic rule on effects is...
- If you step on it to turn it on, it (they) go in-line and before the pre-in
- If it has rack ears, it goes in with the racked amp
...the signal strength is different between stomp boxes and rack-mounted effects and generally are not interchangable. The Boss pedals you mentioned are of the in-line variety.
Good advice here. I'd just run those pedals in-line straight into the input on your amp, that's it.

They would run in parallel with either connection. Daisy Chaining (plugging one cabinet into the other) (nearly always) connects the cabinets in parallel with one another.
