Hey guys, I just bought my dream rig - a brand new Ampeg SVT CL and a 8x10E cab!! Thing is, though, it's coming from the Chinese factories. How much will this affect quality? I got offered it at such a good price that I'd be an idiot not to buy it. :) It shouldn't affect quality, right? Since they just use workers that get paid less wagers? Not to get political here. I'm just say, anyone tried one of those new Ampegs?

Hello fellow members, #27 here, with a question. Didn't want to start a new thread, and couldn't find much info. I picked up an SVT 100T combo amp today, for about $350. I was actually looking for something small I could use for an acoustic jam, but saw this gem, and jumped on it. Do any of you know about this amp? It's obviously out of production, and looks like it has a pair of 8" drivers, and solid state all the way. It has a nice deep tone, and although it's not at all what I intended on buying, it looks great in the room with the rest of my Ampeg gear. If anyone could fill me in on stuff like, when they were made, what they cost back then, and specs like speaker size and power rating, whatever, I'd be much obliged. Like I said, I think they're 8's, and I think it's 100 watts, but that's about it. Thanks in advance, and yeah, I'll get some pics up soon.:confused:

ok set evrything at 12 o clock ...and play ...

and BLAM it's the most buautitfull sound ever!!! and evrything is at 12 o'clock add a little lows juice up the highs boost this mid frequency cut that one add the low boost and then you will NOT EVEN BELIEVE how good it sounds.
Wheni fisrst played the SVT3 i set evrything at 12 and it sounded so awsome if i closed my eyese before i ever played it and just started playeing it you would not be able to convince me evrything was flat. with evrything sounding so amazeing flat you know it only gets better! that was the INSTANT i was hooked on ampeg ofr good!
