Recently teamed up with some former bandmates to work on new material after years of not playing much at all. Turns out, my ideas about bass tone have changed a bit since the late nineties! Wasn't long before I settled on Ampeg sound as the new standard. I just acquired a 1973 V-4B. At the moment I'm running into an old Hartke 210 cabinet, but I will soon remedy that. Still sounds great: tonal range is rich and versatile. I'm hooked.
