I'm really serious about buying the Micro-VR amp and Cab.
I wanna downsize my gear! they are so light and have so much charactere that i want one.
I only need one cab for what i'm doing for the moment, so i won't have the issue that some of you have reported with 2 cabs...
My only question is: IS it reliable?
I never ever had issue with my GK and agular rig over the past ten years...
Can i expect as much reliability?

But for the past 8 months, I've put quite the miles on my Micro VR/210av, and other than the two cab issue, it's worked flawlessly. Even dropped it once and it still works fine.

By the way... Did you try those cabs without limiter, -15db pad off and full volume? I guess those cabs give more watts than the 210AV

yeah, volume all the way up, no limiter, gain at about 12:00. The cabs sound like they are starting to give out, not the same sound that I heard in fenderhutz's video. More of a "too low and too loud" warning from the woofers. Those svt cabs are only rated at 200 watts each, and they sound great with this amp. I don't normally go for a ton of volume, and with the Micro it isn't even an option anyway. Fits my needs perfectly, but compared to a "real" svt amp.... not even in the same ballpark.
Anyone running any effects through theirs? I'm trying to beef it up just a little bit, but want to see if anyone's already doing anything that works before I spend any more cash.
I use a VT Deluxe, a Hartke Bass Attack, and a couple different octave pedals through mine.
Yes, a MXR M-82 envelope filter, an EHX Micro POG octaver and an EHX bass big muff.
But only at home to do some freaking out and every now and then in a project.
I'm seriously considering the VT Deluxe. I've relegated the head to backup status for the time being and gigging the V4BH, but if I could get that tubey sound through the Micro, it would save me some heavy lifting.
The VT is tubey sounding in the exact same way as the Micro VR is tubey sounding, except you get more versatility with the distorted sounds than the Micro VR, which only does clean and a slight breakup. But with that versatility comes sensitive knobs, which makes the VT harder to dial in sounds than the Micro VR. I just answered a PM about it, and I told the guy that the VT took me a month or two to totally figure it out, but the Micro VR took about 3 minutes.
