Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.
In your first sentence you say you didn't accuse her of anything. In your third sentence you say you accused her of bad photoshopping skills, which makes your first sentence a lie. You DID accuse her of something she didn't do, and now you can't seem to understand why she's be offended. So, while it may not be your problem, it certainly is your fault. Why not just say you're sorry?
I need to replace the 3 way microswitch on my ATK 500 (same switch as in the 300). Ibanez says they are backordered. Anyone know what is a replacement that will work? Part number and source would be great. Thanks.

Looks like a maple neck for me then.
Just for extra info - I take it (not having had the chance to actually play an ATK but I've had several Ibanez instruments & trust the quality) the ATK neck is much less deep than the clubby MM/OLP necks? I have small hands & find the reach around a baseballbat-type neck problematic - especially on a 5er.
Is say its about as wide as an MM neck but its certainly not as deep, got a pretty flat back to it too so overall it feels alot thinner then the well chunky MM neck.
You can always just paint it black
I find the width to not be a problem, basically the same as a Ray, and the profile Ive found is slimmer than some jazzes, but I don't know specs for those, and it's just personal opinion. I am a totally new bass player 2 weeks, I have ordered a new ATK 300 NT. Hopefully take delivery within next few weeks. Will post a pic once I have her, if i can use a camera after playing till i drop

Well, my beloved ATK305 finaly died 
It had always had some hum, which ive needed to fix, but hadnt had the skill to do it myself and it hasnt been really necessary. But the other day, the humbucking position had no sound, i opened it up, and a wires completly unconnected. Its the black one coming from the pickup. never even touched the electronics, and now i need to find someone to repair it :/ Should i use this as an oportunity to change pickups? and how much does this kind of thing normally cost?

That's a simple solder job by your local guitar tech, or someone you know that does electrical work. You just need to find the spot where the wire broke off from.
Try that first, it may be all you need, rather than spend a couple of hundred $$ or more to replace everything.
I think im gonna take a pic and post it on here (how would i go about doing that? ive never been able to figure it out) of the electronics, i have no idea where it went. This whole fiasco made me take pics of my other basses for future reference haha.
(1st) Go to www.photobucket.com and register for an account. (2nd) Go to your photobucket account, look for the upload window, follow directions, and upload your picture/pictures. (3rd) Click on the picture, and on the left side you will see a menu saying "Share This Image". Find the "Image Code" box, and right click in the box and click copy in the menu box that appears. (4th) Go to this thread, open a reply box, say what you want to say, then on a new line right click to open the right-click menu box, and hit "paste". The image code will be pasted. Then I suggest hitting the "Preview Post" button below to see your reply and make sure the picture was loaded.
As an example, I followed the steps to post the pictures below of the new ATK305 Black Sparkle Bass I bought on eBay recently. It's acually easy once you've done it a couple of times. Good Luck!
These might help - if you can solder, it should be an easy do it yourself job - see attached pics - one is the original series with the single circuit board, the other is the newer release with the SMB
I can't see why you would need to replace anything.
Of course, I have an EMG 40CS in my ATK - but not because I HAD to, just wanted a different vibe.

Hi, just checking in on the ATK club. I'm a bassist for 9 years, but only now i have an Atk, and i love him. Had some other basses, been in some bands, and at this time the Atk is the right bass for me. My model is a 405 from the last serie, not the new one. Made in Japan, dark blue with a maple fingerboard, with 2 pickups. The classic one and other next to the fingerboard.

Thanks guys, i think i kinda know what to do, but ill get some pics soon and post them just to make sure. I need to learn how to solder now, haha. Ive been meaning to anyway.
