Hipshot Ultralights (and Detuner) mounted. I had to sand just a little off of the hump to get the lever to clear, but hard it was barely any that had to come off (1/16" maybe?)! All tuenrs work great! Woohoo!!!!!!!!

Any significant weight savings? How much smaller are the ears from the original tuners? Would like to see a picture of an old tuner laid next to a new one to see the size difference if you could, and while I'm bugging you, a picture from the front of the headstock would be cool. Must be a great improvement over the originals, and having the D-tuner is cool! Good job.....

I'm looking to join this club. It's a 2007 ATK in a Transparent Blue Burst colour. The manager of the store where I bought it said that the colour is some sort of limited edition rarity. Can anyone confirm?

Rough mix of one of my bands album showing my modded ATK in action since a few of you wanted to hear what it sounds like:

Ran all passive with a basculture.de humbucker instead of the stock, with a seymour jazz hot stack probably in a similar position to an old jazz bass, thats what I asked for anyway. No balance pot or anything so the humbucker a fair amount louder then the Jazz pickup cos the humbucker is VERY hot. All that recorded through a sansamp DI (albeit ran without any blend so about as clean as a sansamp gets) which also got reamped into a marshall VBA400+matching 8x10 stack miced with a 57 for some mids.

Not enough depth for my liking at the moment, mostly just high mids that I can hear predominately, so a little extra low end and a bit more low mids will make it really nice as far as I'm concerned. Theres a definite stingray likeness to it, but it has plenty enough of its own character. Other then a bit of tweaking I'm really happy with how its turned out, the VBA400 is a really nice amp, first valve head I've really liked the sound of my playing with so once I get my NV215 fixed I think I know what head I'm gonna be saving for.
