And I have one of these Limited Edition ATK's for sale and it's in brand new condition with tags, tools, orig box, etc. See the classifieds. I am prob one of the only people out there with one that is pretty much mint (only played at my house for one rehearsal)!

That must be a pretty rare one man, I wouldn't dream of messing with that just on the basis that someone will really appreciate that bass. In the unlikely event that I were in a cheesy 80s rock band or had the money then I'd definitely buy that off you.

Yeah, I agree with you. If I eventually decide to make a left-handed body for this, I will strongly consider painting the new body to match the headstock. It looks better in person, and the sparkle is kind of cool... it's growing on me.

Mine's mint as well I got it brand new just a few months ago and I play it -very- carefully. No scratches, no dings.

But it's not for sale. Ever.

didn't know they put figured tops on them back then. Great looking bass! What kind of pickguard came on it? Can you put it in place and take a picture of it? You don't have to screw it on though...

It was white pearl pickguard but i don`t have it...I bought this bass used without pickguard and previous owner removed it and don`know where is it...

Too bad you don't have it... I'll bet it would look cool with a white pearloid guard.

I just did the first rehearsal with this MIJ. atk 300 - nice piece of wood!

It's the 2nd ATK in my life, I previously had a dark brown 305 - could not get used to the string spacing.

I sold my ATK700 natural last year to a fellow TBer, and have played my Stingray ever since. I am in the process of reacquiring it, as I felt it played as good as the Ray if not better.

I just reversed the pup in my ATK - liking the sound a lot. It's getting a lot of play in my new funk band. Groovy bass!

my condolances.
love my atk300
had spector,fender,musicman etc.
this sounds as good as any of them,the neck feels great ( the guy i bought it from had it ¨plekked¨as u call it)
the thing is bombproof and will b my main axe for my overseas tours
