Hi Eshalon, I have only really given it a good workout in a band situation so far with the Orange AD200 and the Trace Elliott V4. Both sounded fantastic, with the Trace giving it a bit more grind. Hard to say which I prefer out of the two, probably the Orange for its bottom but the Trace had a bit more grind. Will be giving the Ampeg V4b a chance next weekend, then down the track the Super Bassman. You really can't go wrong with any of them but as I get more used to the cab and it gets broken in I am appreciating the way it lets each head shine in its own way. When I first got it I heard the Four 10's strong character and loved it, but it definitely does not color the tone to the extent that each amp's subtleties does not come through. My tube heads have never sounded better.
I, too, would like to know your thoughts about the Super Bassman with the Four10, when you have had a chance to chekck it out for yourself.
. Starting to doubt whether I do need a Two 10 or Four 10 on top of it. I do have a Fender neo 810 and a Berg 215 sitting around, both great but they don't add the character that the BF does.
