Brilliant!! Think big, be big!I appreciate your input, thanks! On the other hand yesterday I paid the balance for my SuperMidget LOL. I put it this way now: I have to try their 12" as I already have One10. If I don't like SM I'll let it go and come back to another One10. Easy
My BTII is on the truck to be delivered, wow the wait is over and tonight the rocking begins.
Mine is at the local airport.
I've never been able to cyber stalk a piece of gear like this before.
Hey... new covers! Mine says Barefaced - Generation 3. It doesn't say Big Twin II like yours.
I'm pretty impressed with what I hear so far. Even without a tweeter, the highs work very well. The lows are clear and tight. Since it is in my den, I havent really beat it up yet, but I think it gets the sealed 810 sound I wanted.
The cab is much lighter than I was expecting. Very easy to handle.

That thing must kill with that Mesa huh? I am trying to wait for the Aguilar 700 to come out before I make any decisions on a new amp but if I am not happy with it I will be looking seriously at the Mesa, either the 800 or the 800+. BTW nice rig!

I tried both Aggie 700 (NAMM prototype) and D800, and liked both. They are quite different sounding amps though. Now I own D800 and I am very happy with its pairing my One10.
I've really enjoyed the Mesa. I hung on to a Shuttle 9.0 for years because it was the easiest way to get that wattage in that size. Nothing else really did it for me. Then the Mesa came out and I had to try it. The features of the 800+ aren't worth the price for me, and this has done fine. I liked the sweepable mids on the Shuttle, but this is even better.
So far, I've only heard the BF in my den, but I like it so far. It has the deep lows of my GK cabs, but much better mid range. The highs aren't as brittle either. I'm debating if I want to take it to practice tonight.
Well, now that the whole mint-in-box thing is ruined, you may as well play it. No collector would ever pay money for it now! 
What a great night. This thing sounded amazing. I am so happy with my sound now.
Maaaaan y'all are killin me! My BTII was delivered the day after I had to leave for a week. THIS HAS BEEN THE LONGEST WEEK EVER!
BTII? Isn't that the one thats like TWO BBII's built in to one cabinet? Gosh, that would be thunderously loud, deep and clear with beautiful glassy highs, wouldn't it?
Sorry man. I, too, am often away when new toys arrive and have to wait to play with them. The taste will only be sweeter! I own two BBII's and you are in for a treat!

Your first Barefaced is a special thing. It's like, you can finally hear yourself clearly without being too loud, and there's this thick deep bass all over that doesn't muddy up the mix. <3
