EDIT: Just been noodling on the One 10/V4b combo again. I cannot believe just how good this combination sounds. The V4B seems to really open up the One 10. Absolute tonal heaven..... common sense does say that since I bought the One 10 to be part of a mini rig it seems a little silly.

I run an Ampeg PF50T into my One10 frequently, I'd imagine it sounds much like your V4B and One10... it is sweet. There is ONE room in town where the frequencies match up in some perfect storm to where I can't use the PF50T in it, though, with One10 or SM. PF50T+One10 is what's set up right now in my den as my practice/home setup.

This is exactly what just happened with my cab. It was shipped yesterday, and arrived at my porch this morning while I was having coffee.

My new Super Compact - I'm overjoyed. It takes everything the Reidmar 750 will give.

Those cloth grill covers DO look nice!

Greetings. I've got an "urgent" question. Tomorrow I gig outdoors as part of a bunch of outdoor shows in a neighbourhood. Can I get by with just by Super Compact with my TB500, or should I bring a 2nd speaker (an old Flite 15" loaded with an Eminence 3015 Kappalite)? It's not crushing volumes, but there is a drummer, and I'm wondering about low end diffusion with no walls around me.

I saw a guy last night playing a passive Fender Jazz through a Super Compact, Markbass LM800 and EBS Valve Drive. He had a huge and fantastic sound.

I have a gk 400rb II that I currently use with an ampeg svt 210he + a svt 15e but willing to downsize the weight of cabs I carry twice a week to gigs... While hunting for cabs I heard of barefaced and luckily a BB2 popped up locally in the classifieds... Do you think it will be a good match? I play mostly rock in small to medium size bars and occasionally open air parties, always with some FOH support. BB2 it's only 8 ohms, not being able to push the 200 watts of the head at 4 ohms...
I searched here, but only found gk and barefaced users with more powerful heads than my old 400rb II...

Hard to say. Those heads are reportedly pretty loud. Since it's for sale locally, see if you can meet and test it at some gig-like volume. Maybe you keep one of your other two cabs to pair at gigs where you need the extra displacement.

The BB2 can be super loud but it'll need more than 200 watts to even approach its' potential. I cannot imagine that going from a 210/115 stack to the single BB2 with the same head will be nearly as loud. IMHO if you want to get the BB2 as loud as the 400 RB through your current stack you'll need a lot more juice.

I'd get the BB2. It will be a quantum leap forward in the quality of your sound. Your band will love you for it.

BF cabs have a clarity you won't have experienced with your current rig so every note will stand out. These cabs are more sensitive so the watts will sound louder.

Get the BB2 and if the amp isn't making it. . . . get a better amp.

It's our own PA, first time we're using it, no subwoofers. So my first-world-problem question is, should I use my Four10, or my Big Twin II? It's classic tone contour vs monster clarity.

Classic rock = Four 10 IMO, but then I have never played a Big Twin.

I wound up using the SC and the 15. The SC would have been loud enough but the extra cone area gave me a little more pillowy low end when I needed it, esp on the u-bass numbers. That's said, I don't think I was up past 3 on my gain and volume on the head, so it's possible if I pushed it and had a more sophisticated EQ, I would have gotten the same result.

For anything indoors with PA support, the SC is definitely sufficient.

Yes, it's the AI Clarus Series 4+. I use a Realist Lifeline and an Underwood pickup and blend them. It sounds terrific!

Wow, i'll take your word for it! The Underwood is to catch the slap?
I'll first use my current gear with the Barefaced cab (once it's here), but i'll properly be heading towards a similar set-up. Not sure if to go for an EA Doubler or a AI Clarus.. both look good.
