In all seriousness, I have to say no. This thread has not run its course and it is a great feed of information for veteran barefaced owners as well as people sitting on the fence about taking the plunge.

To add to the derail, have her take the beginner's Motorcycle Safety Foundation course. Many of them provide a bike for the course. Something smaller and lighter than your bike probably is. And in many states you'll get a break on insurance if you take the class.

+1 on the MSF courses.

Every time I get on the bike, I have full gear. As in full gear. I had a major accident back in '06 (hit a coyote on the freeway - at night - in Irvine) and was wearing gear except proper pants. Ground off a good chunk of my knee. Learned my lesson the hard way. The other thing is that I don't drink *anything* with alcohol when riding, and I always assume that everyone is either trying to kill me, or is so buried in their phone while driving they'll kill my be accident. The good thing is no bluetooth for me so my phone essentially doesn't exist when I ride, and my consciousness has to be fully engaged in the moment. Kinda like playing live music :D

Park Stickney got the idea in my head... if he can transport a harp like that, then i should be able to do the same with my double bass ;)
Oh, and make action figures as well!

I'd have to make a waterproof compartment for the Barefaced cab... i doubt that those wheels are highwayproof ;)

Wow... and you kept the Fenders too. I can see that if you do studio recording and want different tone. Personally, I was so happy when I finally got rid of my last 4x10 cabinet. I had an Eden 4x10 and a Fender 4x10 just taking up space since 1998, and now I'm down to a BB2 and an Eden 1x10. At most I'd grab another BB2 or even a midget. I love that it is so light, loud, clear and versatile. It's funny, but when I shopped for my PA system for the band, the weight of each speaker was the first thing I found myself looking at -- a function of having bad shoulders (one that just underwent surgery) and being in my 40's.

Don't forget that it can take a bit of break-in time with that cab. I didn't have the Demeter when I first got the SC (new), so I'm not sure how it will perform out of the box. My SC felt like it needed some extra mid-range tweaking with my Genz Shuttle 9.0 and Jule Monique. The Mo didn't have enough mid control for my liking. Over time, either my ear changed or the cab broke in, or both :) By the time the Demeter arrived, I was quite satisfied with the pairing.

1) Series - used to daisy chain to multi cabs
2) Doesn't matter
3) Uses 2-wire cable (not entirely sure if 4 will work or not)

So if the inputs are in series, that means two 8 ohm cabs daisy chained will be 16 ohms. If its in parallel, that means two 8 ohm cabs are daisy chained the impedance would become 4 ohms. Are you sure it's series? If so this means I can run three 8 ohm cabs to an amp that takes a minimum 4 ohm load. Does that sound right?

No! The speaker jacks are PARALLEL. You can daisy chain if you want to.
