I've thought about that. But probably want the extended low end of a bigger box and I'm not much for tweeters. I would consider a BBII though.
I already have an Audiokinesis Hathor 1203 which is probably in the SM's wheelhouse size wise etc.

Looking for a rid that could handle Prog Rock plus Roland PK5 bass pedals for club work.

Hopefully I can join the club when it arrives - I read that Barefaced has " quite a que", so hopefully before too long.

And I hope the price increase is not coupled with a new version making the new cab model dated.

Anyone know how far behind BF is in production?

When I ordered on Feb 7th I was quoted 3-4 weeks, and we are just at about the 3 week mark now. I bet they got slammed with a bunch of orders from folks trying to get something before the price increase, so I wouldn't be surprised if it takes a bit longer now.

I ordered a Two10 with the 4/12 ohm switch last night. I also ordered a switch for my 4 ohm only Two10.

The wait begins.

I am (probably) gonna order the 4/12 Two10 today too... My only hesitation is that I don't really NEED a new cab... but I WANT one, and this configuration would provide numerous options, and would get significant use.... and the price increase tomorrow (which technically might be tonight 6PM Central Time since that's midnight in Brighton)... all nudging me past my hesitation to spend nearly a G. We'll see if nerves of steel, or an abundance of common sense, prevail. Probably not common sense.

Not surprised about the price increase at this stage of a start up operation. They've done a great job among the TB community building brand awareness and equity to generate trial.

I just did order a 4/12 Two10 to beat the price increase. Like you, I don't need this cab but have wanted one for quite some time. When the 4/12 option became available I started saving. Figured I had some time, but with the price increase I had to act now. I'm probably gonna have to sell a few things before the rest of the payment is due, but that's okay, got a head and an instrument or two that never get used anyways. I'm really looking forward to the tone of the 10s. I currently have two SCs and love them!

I ordered my 2nd BTII a few days ago and my confirmation email also said 3-4 weeks. I'd agree that there probably has been a large influx of orders these last few days but, hopefully, they prepped for that.

If this is your first BF cab, I can tell you with all certainty, you will LOVE it! It can do whatever you need it to do. You need old-school vibe? Roll off the horn and put on some flats. You need new school hi-fi? Roll that horn back in and be prepared to hear what you really sound like. Barefaced cabs really do what they say they can do...

I too suffer from this... As a current owner of both a SM & BB2 and a previous owner of a Two10, I have absolutely no NEED for a new Two10.

So I ordered one a couple weeks ago and am hoping it will be here next week. I just miss the sound of those darn 10's!

Truthfully, I can get away with one most of the time. I play in three bands and all are sonically different.

One is 80s hard rock (AC/DC, Bo Jovi, Def Leppard, etc) and I always use both SCs on stage since I'm competing against two guitar tube amp half stacks, keys, and loud acoustic drums. I always have PA support, but the depth of sound on stage with both cabs is awesome. I can hear myself and so can the rest of the band. I used one for awhile, before I could afford the second, and got along fine, but it was a little tough at times. I pushed the cab pretty hard and it sounded great. The second made everything effortless.

The second is mostly 80s rock along the lines of John Mellencamp, The Cars, The Boss, John Cafferty along with some bar band classics - BEG, Mustang Sally, Old Time Rock and Roll, Johnny B. Goode, etc. This band is definitely quieter than the first, I can use one cab, but always use two because I had both when this band started and two just sounds sooooooo good.

The third band is an originals 3 piece with a female singer. We play rock music at smaller venues. The drummer can be very loud, but overall we're not really loud. I've only used one cab with this band and it has always been more than enough.

Long story short - one cab is enough but two is just better

I decided to place an order for a 8ohm 410 after much thought of should I do it or pass.

Last year I purchased a boutique cab and it hasn't satisfied my need for tone unfortunately even though a lot of bass players love them.

I recently purchased a sweet 215 from a cabinet maker here in New England and I'm super happy with it. It provides a nice warm, very deep tone that cuts through the mix really well.

Regarding the barefaced I just couldn't pass by trying out a 410 after all the great response of how sweet a cabinet it is and the correspondence with Alex.

Thanks! I've been using a DNA 1-12Neo which is pretty transparent so hopefully this will be in the same family.

Done... Two10 4/12 silver grill ordered. Will use it as standalone for many gigs, and with the Four10 on some.

I wonder if it is possible/advisable to use the 4/12 Two10 with an 8 ohm One10 to make a Three10 vertical stack. Calculating ohm load is not something that I can do in my sleep. If anyone knows the answer before I have a chance to look up the appropriate reference page, please do

I believe if you switch the TWO10 to 4ohms it'll work perfectly with an 8ohm ONE10. That's how I used mine when I had that rig matched up with my Mesa D800. I'm actually contemplating buying that same cabinet configuration today.

4ohm Two10 + 8ohm One10 = 32/12= 2.67 ohm load. (I think?) I have one amp that'll go down to 2 ohms, but it's a 65 pound tube head. I don't think any of my other amps will go down to 2, sadly. I think the D800 goes down to 2, IIRC so that will work for you, but not for me, with all my lighter heads.

But, 12 ohm Two10 + 8 ohm One10 = 96/20 = 4.8 ohm load. All my amps will do 4 ohm, so that would work.

Will power to all three drivers be the same?

Ahhh yes, that's right. The D800 does go down to 2.67 ohms. Sorry about the confusion.

I have three pretty decent but quite heavy 4x10's I will sell to offset part of the cost... SWR Goliath III, Eden 410XLT, and some kind of Fender 4x10 with the top 2 drivers tilted up.

The 10's are definitely a different animal than the 12's but I like them both.

I have used my 4 ohm Two10 and an 8 ohm One10 together. Sounded very good and is probably all my cover band needs, but I play in some much louder bands so I opted for the switch as I also want to have the option of running both Two10's together.

I believe running a 12 ohm Two10 and an 8 ohm One10 sends 60% of the power to the One10 and 40% to the Two10, so not a good idea.
