The Barefaced tens are a great match with the Mesa 800+, which will comfortably do 2 ohms. First time my band mates have been blown away when I have bought a non-tube head to a gig as I am a tube lover from forever. I must say it impressed the heck out of me too, and I only bought the Mesa as a backup head. Worth a try if you get the opportunity.

This is good to hear. I have a 4 ohm four10 almost complete and I'm looking forward to see how it sounds. I'm currently using a Revsound 215T that is pretty amazing. Curious to see how differently voiced the cabs will be, and what they will sound like together at a 2 ohm load.

Yea man. Alex had a handful of speakers late last year to make a few 4ohm cabs. I inquired within and he still had enough to make a cab!

I wanted the option to pair it with my 215 and have equal power hitting both cabs.

I'm guessing you're talking to me? I'm actually running a wet/dry setup. So each amp would, in fact, be running its own cab. The only reason I'm not using them right now, is because I'm running two TC Electronics SpectaDrive preamps on my pedalboard. Each one of those is feeding a side of a QSC GX7 power amp and each side of the power amp feeds it's own cab. Soon to be two BTII's...

That sounds like a massive setup. Not sure the BB800 is designed for max volume at 2 ohms. Seems like using one for each BTII would be an optimum match for a wet/dry setup and provide up to 800W per cab. Wow!

Quilter says it will probably run at 2 ohm but might experience clipping at high volumes.

It won't be nearly as massive as it sounds, lol! Since I'm using Ampeg cabs right now, it's tall because I have them stacked. When my second BTII shows up, I'll run them side by side, so it won't be nearly as tall. Plus with the QSC, each cab will be getting 1,000w!

It sounds awesome with the Ampegs, and I already know that one BTII sounds better than the Ampeg stack...

Looks like BF also recommends the SM stacked with an SC, which is what I have so far (a single SC). I originally thought my long term add would be the BB2 with the SC, but BF doesn't recommend them together (I've seen posts of TB members who do like those together). Many/any of you stacking the SM and SC together?

I changed my Two10 order to a BBII. I'll be interested to hear what a BTII/BBII stack sounds like.

We do play loud, and it's easier to carry a relatively small BB2 vs powered PA sub.

The other option is...three two10's or a two10 and four10. Or two four10's. I really wish I could get 4 ohm four10's.
I'd love to try the 10's...and I really wish I could get them in the next 2 weeks before my outdoor gigs start.

p.s. Super Compact is a very good guitar and keyboard cabinet. Sounds huge with my Quilter MicroPro Mach 2.

p.p.s. I want to get all of the 12" options, the Midget and the Baby, to use with all of my various instrument amplifiers.

The SPL from an 8 ohm Four10 is almost on a par with an 810. The supposed benefits of 4 ohm over to 8 ohm are pretty redundant with the BF Four10.

Just a quick and awesome! report on the six/ten.

I had my first rehearsal with the cabinet today. As far as thinking the six/ten was too much for a medium to large space I was totally wrong. It's soooooo much better. The 12's, even in conjunction with each other were punchy and directive compared the the HUGE surface area of the 6X10. So dispersed throughout the basement I could hear every little sound, every little flub or blubber of my attack. This is a game Changing big league cab for sure that will undoughtingly make me a better player in the long run. Worth every penny as an investment and satisfied to say the least. Woooooooooooo!!

I've found my BF cabs like a lot of power. I'd be able to send a ton of power at 4 ohms as a single cab and most of my amps are 2 ohm stable as well so if I needed more volume I could easily add a 2nd four10.
