D800+ is quite favourable as is the Quilter BB800. Haven't tried the Genzler.

I'm going to pull a TalkBass classic and suggest something you didn't ask about: A GK MB Fusion :D I bet the glassy high end would compliment the natural roll off of the Barefaced 10s very well. I usually use a Traynor tube amp that is extremely bright, and the 10s love it. Of the class-Ds I've played, the Fusion gets the closest to that.

I'd be a bit wary of the Mesa as it is a bit dark already.

I use the 12s, but I like the sound with my GK MB Fusion 800 and Aguilar AG700...and my Acoustic Image head is great too. They are all different flavors of great.

Thanks! The Quilter sounds intriguing but I eliminated that possibility due to the lack of aux-in/headphone features.

Thanks, I'm not familiar with GK at all but will research it. One thing I forgot to mention is that I like an old school tone, I don't use effects or heavily overdriven sounds. I play mostly early reggae/traditional ska/dub/northern soul, some latin & even some early Santana (first three albums).

Then another one to check out is the Genz Benz Streamliner (tubiest of the class-Ds) or the shameless copy Bugera Veyron BV1001T.

As you can probably tell by now I'm kind of a sucker for hybrids.

The Quilter has an Aux in (xlr, so you'd need a cable that went from your source to xlr) and has a headphone jack as well.

the D800+ bright switch takes care of this. I found my old GB Streamliner 600 to be on the dark side.

Those GK MB Fusion amps are really nice. Every time I played through one I thought man this is all I need.....

Ah, yes. I reluctantly sold a Streamliner 900 earlier this year to help pay for my wife's surgery (surgery was a success btw!), but now I'm unable to find a replacement...
I was very fond of that amp.

Interesting. I didn't realize it had an aux-in via xlr. I looked at pictures, but assumed it was DI-out related.

It has a Line In and a Line Out. The line out isn't a traditional DI out. More like a preamp out that can be used as a DI.
The Line In can be used as an Aux in (you can use a signal into the line in and a concurrent bass signal in the front panel input).
You can also have two signals split with an A/B-Y and toggle between them this way.
The BB8 is quite useful given it's (mis)-perceived limitations. And it slams hard.
