A question to all One10 owners: what do you use to carry your cab in? I remember many of SM users mentioned cajon bags, but they're too big for a One10? I appreciate any info. Thanks.

The one Jxbass linked looks nice as well. I like the small amout of extra space at the end: I can put in a small amp (GK MB200, Trace Elliot ELF) about perfectly. The speaker cable fits in the outer pouch. Complete bass rig in a bag.

I definitely agree with your approach - get the replacement first and THEN make your decision. However, your last sentence barely hints at an obvious, and most likely to occur, option that you omitted - that you'll probably end up keeping both!

I must admit, that's happened with basses before.

I never tilted mine. I see why some might. I never notice a significant difference with the orientation. I'd expect the tweeter closest to the ear (as high as possible) is going to give you the best dispersion.

I didn't generally. But I did on occasion. Stacked it on another cab (SC).

Re SM positioning: raised up, tilted, and flat... if I am playing sitting I leave it flat or tilt. Standing, I tilt or raise it up. I got a "tophat" (pole-mount socket) put in mine so I sometimes put it on the pole, which is short-- max height of 42".

Nice! Well, that makes perfect sense. Glad the old logo isn't going anywhere. I like it too.

Me too. Plus my OCD is light enough that I can live with the slight sizing differences when I eventually pick up a SM to stack on my SC, but two different logos would be waaaay too much for me to handle...

While I already have more than enough guitar gear, I certainly am curious as to what you have cooked up for this new creation. My current go-to guitar cab is an Avatar clone of a Forte 3D 1x12, so I have an appreciation for guitar cabs with a bit of engineering thought put into them.

I hope these new guitar cabs take a ton of power and use it for space heating otherwise we're in trouble. They need a big flat area on top and a 45deg baffle so they get all their tone too.

I like your thinking...they need to be awesome but not so awesome that they out-awesome our Barefaced bass cabs

Thanks for the heads up! But I just picked up a new bass and the SM is more of a mid-to-long term plan - I'm quite a few months out at earliest before I can spring for one. GLWTS!
