You won't be disappointed, it sounds great with any cab I've hooked it up to. I could very well see it as a primary amp for some too, it's surprising how loud it can be. Plus if you turn the gain near all the way up to all the way it will give you some decent grit too.

Finally after 4 weeks of waiting (damn I'm not used to waiting for things anymore) and an excruciating Fedex trip (why does it take 4 days to get from the UK to the Netherlands when you can get it to the US in a day?) it has finally arrived.....my Big Twin 2.
And of course practice is canceled.....
Ah well, been playing some on it at home and it definitely needs a break in. After playing music on it for a couple of hours you could really hear the lowend opening up. It's a fantastic sounding hifi speaker btw. Most suprising was the fact that my wife really liked it in our living room and said "just keep it here, I like the look of it and it sounds fantastic"
Seriously looking forward to playing on it loudly and comparing it to my Genz Benz 6*10 XB2.

I'm about to creep into the wilds of London, wearing my Barefaced beanie. I wonder if it'll get noticed.
Maybe don't go into the wilds of London, but find a nice upscale neighborhood like Knightsbridge, to be recognized. Those Barefaced cabs cost a pretty penny so not only do you need to find a bass player, you need to find a semi-affluent one. You may not find too many of them in the wilds.
I saw The Pet Shop in Hackney. Alas, there were no boys there.

A question to all One10 owners: what do you use to carry your cab in? I remember many of SM users mentioned cajon bags, but they're too big for a One10? I appreciate any info. Thanks.
I used both the deluxe, in link below, and standard Meinl Cajon Bags. Yes, there are a couple of spare inches in one dimension, but it's a great bag to protect and carry the One10 - IMO.

NCD! (new cab day) Just got my Super Midget, and now... an official member. Got say, alittle weird its sooo light and small. Im replacing a ACME B-2 about twice the size/weight. Ill be happy getting use to this though! I also have a Cajon bag for the SM, its a little roomy but nice fro cables etc.
I bet the Invalid Link Removed would just fit (2) One10s nicely (or a BBII).

I am proud to say I have joined the ranks of Club Barefaced today! I bought a 3rd generation Super Compact from a fellow TB'er and gave it an initial shakedown with my Mesa D800+. The tonal description on the website is accurate: what comes in comes out. This is the first cab where I have set the EQ on my amp flat and was satisfied. I usually boost upper mids and a little bit of lower mids, but not with this cab; I actually turned up the Voicing control on my D800+ a little more than usual, though.
And yeah, freakishly light weight. You can tell it's well-braced from tapping the sides of the cab: no resonant ringing noises at all. I look forward to gigging it!

Ok I'm gassin now! This was so light I may sell and move up to a BBII - at only +6 lbs more it seems really tempting. Anyone out there go that direction? SM->BBII
I'm digging the SM but definitely different than my LowB. Messing with the HF control. (And this cab is certainly overrated for tonight's gig. So I cant really open it up here.) I feel like the SM has more "air" than the LowB. The acme feels darker punchier (or I'm just use to it after 10years ) but I'm sure I just need sometime to get to know the SM.

I got an SM after having bought a BBII, and like them both quite a lot. So, I kinda went the other way BBII>SM, but kept both cabs. I use the SM more often than the BB2, but really mainly because I play a lot of somewhat quieter gigs. While the weight difference is only 6 pounds, the BBII box is appreciably bigger than the SM so it's slightly more awkward going through doorways and the like. BB2 has a bit more of the thick "PA support-like" bottom end which is nice for a bigger place, you can still use a smallish cab like the BBII and give it a nice full sound throughout the room.
And yeah, I think getting proficient at setting the driver/horn crossover knob to your taste is pretty important with both SM and BBII in terms of enjoyment.
No experience personally with the LowB so I am not sure what your baseline sound is.
Whenever possible-- and often its not-- I recommend getting the "replacement" cab before you sell the first cab, and then making sure that you prefer the new cab to the first one. If yes, then go ahead and sell the first one. If no, then you can still sell the "replacement" cab, and with Barefaced, you'll get a very high resale value so you won't lose much if anything.
Congrats on the SM, you cannot go wrong with either cab.

Any EQing at amp is mostly for room, at EB for tone. Alex gave me great advice in picking up a SM (I was heading toward 2 One10s). I looking forward to what the SM has to offer.

I will agree with Plutonium that the BB2 is a pretty bulky 1x12. It's almost unimaginably light for a cabinet that size, but it' still kind of bulky or cumbersome. I've been interested in trying a Super Midget sometime just to compare them, but I'm afraid I'd just become a BF hoarder, and I don't get to the cabs I have often enough as it is (play mostly jam sessions where the amp is provided).

That's how I ended up with two Barefaced and two TKS cabs, then two more TKS (different), and things got complicated for a while
Eventually I sold the Barefaced (first a Compact, then a pair of BB2) but I got a pair of Two10 that I love. And I kept one pair of small TKS too, my home set up

what do you think of the 10"s compared to the 12" in the SC and BB2 tone-wise?
I A/B'd a SM and a LowB today and while I'm still getting use to the SM, I couldn't get the low end punch I get with the ACME (though on the other side of the coin, the SM had more Mids and "air") Im wondering if the 10" speakers will give me the more old school sound I'm looking for (as mentioned on their website)?
