A One10 isn't for everything. It's great-- more than great-- for small gigs, especially for jazz, folk, coffee shop, etc, or larger where you just need a personal monitor and there's PA support. I love it and use it as often as is practical. I certainly get enough bass response for using that cab alone, in the environments described. Two10 is needed-- and sufficient for-- rock and blues, etc that is loud but not ear-shattering.
I do remember taking the One10 to a blues jam my band hosts to try it out for the first time with a full band in a loud environment. I was a little disappointed b/c I came into it thinking this miracle 15 pound cab should do everything the bass rigs of old-- colossal and loud-- used to do. I quickly realized that it was a case of expecting a miracle cab that defied the laws of physics, when I should have merely expected excellence, within the bounds of physics. That's what it delivers.
I was also mildly surprised that the Two10s can handle a full-on gig, I'd had 2x10's before but never had one that can cover like the Two10s.
I have 5 Barefaced cabs and use them all, in different settings and combinations. It'd be hard to say I have a "favorite", because it depends on what day of the week it is and what I had for breakfast that day. WHile they all have their ideal use, often it comes down to how I feel-- like basses, sometimes you just want that other sound.
