No, I meant single One 10. The loudness or efficiency of the two One10s and the single Two10 would be the same. I guess it was an obtuse way of saying, "They would sound the same, even if that seems counterintuitive".
Just received one of Karl's SM's from the classifieds -- here it is matched up with the SC! Definitely too much for my tiny practice room/office, but can't wait to try it in the wild in two weeks!
Operating under the assumption all the drivers are the same and half are low passed in the 210, none lowpassed in the 110, two 110's would be more trebbly than one 210

If the cabs are properly braced then it makes no difference at all. Cut a load of holes in the internal baffles that divide an Ampeg 8x10" into four separate internal enclosures, so it becomes one big enclosure and there will be no sonic change - but it will weigh a little less. But compared to a lot of big cabs of that era, the Ampeg 8x10 was properly braced by being subdivided.

A bassdrop alluded to above, it's because you have both constructive and destructive interference going on. The end result is such a marginal change that the room you're in and EQ subtleties will make far more difference.
Look at it this way - if you stack two One10s, how much of the treble from the bottom woofer do you think you're actually going to hear?

To BF cloth grill owners...
Im debating "cloth vs steel" grill on my purchase. Whats the cloth grill construction look like, how sturdy is it, etc? (love to see some pics of the inside of grill, how much support. Does it have any speaker support or just fabric stretched over a frame?)
I actually really like the silver cloth but on the unpredictable NYC subways (Rush hour/cranky stroller moms, wild card weirdos, etc) I worry about the speaker with a cloth grill even in a cover. (Obviously steel is a no brainer.)

I got cloth on all mine, and I love the way it looks. But if had to take them on the NYC subways, I think I would have opted for steel. Or both, I think they might be able to do cloth over steel grill.
My cabs have the steel grill so I can't help you with pictures of the cloth. But... whichever you choose I strongly recommend getting a decent cover to use when moving the cabinet. It will help prevent chipping the finish and also protect whichever grill style you choose. I got my covers from Roqsolid and ordered them with a pouch in front so that I could put in a thin piece of plywood to protect the grill. It works really well to give an extra layer of solid protection. The covers Barefaced sells are really nice, too, and heavier than the ones I have. If you order a cover from Barefaced make sure to order it at the same time as the cabinet, it will save you money on shipping. Shipping just the cover by itself was expensive.
+1 on @StephenR . I had them throw in a One10 cover with the Two10s that I recently received to save on shipping, literally half the price for the cover to be shipped with it. Plus having the cover on the cab for shipping further protects it from possible shipping damage.
Mine have the steel grill and I have the RoqSolid covers as well. My covers also have a flap that velcro around the bottom.
I mentioned in this thread some time ago that I preferred the steel grills for the extra level of protection. I based that on my son hitting or running into one of my mains in my home theater system when he was little. Those speakers had cloth grills and, however he hit it, that impact tore half of the speaker cone from the surround. Hence my preference for the steel grills. However, Alex replied and said that his grills are stretched tight like trampolines so he didn't think there was much of a difference in the level of protection either grill provided.

I'll join the chorus and say for your situation, the steel grille is wise. I bought my Super Compact used so it already had the steel grille, but even though I like the cloth aesthetic and slight weight reduction, I'm glad it has it for piece of mind. Also, while I'd imagine these issues would be rare for a Barefaced, I did have to trace down some grille rattle gremlins on my Ampeg 4x10's cloth grille so I didn't want to re-hash that.
I am the only person who moves my cabs so cloth is good for me. It makes the cab lighter and it looks great.
