Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

See post 9362 above. It is like having a Big Twin II with three 12" drivers. Cabinets are both super easy to move the only downside is the expense. I can fit my entire rig, plus the dolly I set it up on, in the cargo area of my Honda CRV without putting the back seat down. This is the first bass rig I have owned where I don't need a large station wagon/van or have to put the rear seat down to fit it in the vehicle I am driving. The best thing is I can still see out the rear window....
It's like magic.

Would it be insane to stack a Big Baby II with a Super Twin just to get a little brightness out of the BB2? What about a 210?
My D800 amp will handle weird Ohm pairings.
When I use my Dubster II, i use the BB2 to get brightness so think the match you are thinking would be fine. Though i only use that setup for some reggae gigs. I don't think and of my other gigs would require that much bottom end

That's an awesome mini rig (I had the same one but replaced the MB200 with a Genzler Magellan 350, no real reason, just GAS....).

I never owned one, but those Big Als are really cool basses, too. Even better in that finish!

the MB200 has been with me for so many years that it felt in the pet-you-can't-get-rid-of category :)

The Big Al are great, I have a 4' that I mostly used but wanted to see how the One10 was taking the low B

Of course I had to try that stack : Barefaced One10 and Darkglass Electronics DG210C

It does look cool and can't say much of the sound or the upgraded Thunder as I could only try it at home. It's probably not a good match given the unbalance of power.

Really like that DG cab but the weight makes it just unpractical in the Tokyo environment (no car and need to lug my gear in a trolley by train)

Hey everyone, So I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a Six10 once I get my bonus next month, Is anyone currently running one of these with a SVT head? My current only concern is if the SVT will have enough room to sit on top of the cab.

Also if anyone has one of these in Ontario and would let me try it with my head etc before I spend over 2 grand on a cab I would be forever grateful lol.

Should fit. The Six10 is 24" wide.

I'm sure it will be an awesome combination.

looking at the dimensions of the SVT CL and BF's website, they are the same width.

just done the same for my Trace and I'm going to have some overhang... dang! I'm sure once I'm blowing the house down I won't care. :D

On another note, has anyone ever gotten updates throughout their builds? When I ordered I did ask if it would be possible to get my cab done and delivered by the 14th, so don't wanna come across as a douche asking how they're getting on...

No, never had any updates for any of my orders (3 over the last 10 years or so).
Mine shipped out yesterday, ordered on the 10th.
The shipping seems to have changed too, my first non-UK order was shipped and delivered to Canada in about 48hours, this one seems to be taking the long route as I'm getting a 7 day delivery time.

How have the import charges been? I have got nailed on those before.
