Doesn't the BBII hang off the ST front to back a bit. Will the BBII feet sit in the ST cab well?

Here you go, not the best quality photo but you can see how the cabinets stack. I don't have a side shot but the small amount of overhang in the back has not been an issue.
Oh yes, as my memory serves me, I think I saw this pic on alembic forum. Thanks a lot for the info!
I use a D800+ di preamp into my D800, this offers more top end clarity, Bright switch is great, also the deep switch in combination with HPF. I recently sold my BB2 and bought 2xone10s. I was always fighting Lf boom with BB2. The one10's work well, and surprisingly have enough top end for me.
I'm about to pull a trigger on a FR800. Just wondering if anyone has experience w/ Berg CN212(or comparable 212's) compared to the BB2/FR800? I'm mostly curious about perceived loudness. If a single BB2 could compete with a great 212.
I'm not familiar with the other cabinet, but based on that company's reputation I would not expect a single BB2 to outperform a 212 for loudness. I would expect the drivers in the 212 to be high-performance, and the bigger cab dimensions to likely help as well.

I prefer my ST or AK TC212 to a single BBII. I like bigger cabs with more than one driver if given a choice (which I have). But that's a tonal thing for me. The BBII can get stonking loud for a single driver cab and it's one of the best in production and can definitely carry a decent sized room and take a boatload of power. And a super easy carry.
I own a berg HDN212 which is an updated version of the CN. I did own a BB2 and I AB'd them and the HDN212 is much louder. 2 totally different animals though so it really depends on what you're looking for it to do for you.
I had 2 Super Compacts and they played louder than my CN212.
I say louder, I gigged them at the same volume but I had to turn the volume down on my Aguilar TH500 (from about noon to 10 o'clock) when I moved to the Barefaced cabs.
Would it be insane to stack a Big Baby II with a Super Twin just to get a little brightness out of the BB2? What about a 210?

I want to add the BB II to get some brightness. The ST doesn't have a tweeter. Plus it gets a speaker closer to my head.

There was a BT2 for sale in the classifieds but I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger.

Only because I have several multi driver cabs from Barefaced and Audiokinesis. Can't keep em all as much as I'd like to. And I have my eye on another BF multi driver cab that should destroy anything in its path including my house.

See post 9362 above. It is like having a Big Twin II with three 12" drivers. Cabinets are both super easy to move the only downside is the expense. I can fit my entire rig, plus the dolly I set it up on, in the cargo area of my Honda CRV without putting the back seat down. This is the first bass rig I have owned where I don't need a large station wagon/van or have to put the rear seat down to fit it in the vehicle I am driving. The best thing is I can still see out the rear window....
