. I have been procrastinating over this for a while and when one turned up used here in New Zealand of all places I had to jump on it. Very interested to hear for myself the difference between it and my Two 10 and Four 10. I can't see it becoming my main gigging rig as the tens suit me so well but it will see a few rehearsals and could get use in a different genre sometimes.

I have a bb2 and a sm. I never need to use them together. Unless im playing outside with no pa support. I feel like they would be to much. Barefaced cabs are the best I have ever used.
It looks like the Midget is it's own thing.
A super twin is two super compacts according to the blurb.
A big twin looks like a big baby with an extra woofer, or a super twin with a compression driver.
I guess the compact is the closest thing to a match aside from another big baby.

Take a look at the cabinet dimensions. The variations in sizes are going to mean variations in sound and performance. The differences aren't radical, but the SM doesn't extend into the lows the same way a SC does, or the bigger BB2 does (all else equal, meaning without EQ adjustments). The various cabs should all play reasonably well together, but there isn't quite an exact way to replicate a 212 with the various 112 boxes. Now, I doubt most people will hear a substantial difference, though TB is full of finicky folk.
The BB2 and SM are a great combo! They sound great together and individually they can work in a variety of situations! I have used mine stacked many times! I love Barefaced cabs!!!
BTW, the SM is my most used cab. Due to its size, it's easier to transport and works for many gigs and rehearsals. It also kills with upright bass, but is still amazing with electric! BB2 is definitely deeper, louder, and crisper sounding. But the SM works great in a stack with the BB2 and having both gives you choices for whatever the situation. I recently added a One10 and love it as well!!!
I believe there was talk of that at one point in the past. Don't know what, if anything, came of it.
