I absolutely love my BB2s, but I've always been curious about how the Super Midget compares. I know the cab is smaller than the BB2 so it wouldn't have the same low end (and i think the tweeter and tweeter control is different?), but it has the same driver so it should be able to produce a lot of volume for its size but with a tighter low end than a BB2. Have you ever gigged it by itself?

Yes and yes your assumption is correct. It doesn't produce the same low end but it's dam near close. The tweeter sounds the same to me. It's mighty alone and can easily be heard over a two guitar drummer rock band. I'm using both today only because I have no front of house. First time btw. I will report back.

My pair of BB2s always surprise people who don't know what they are, and even more so when I only use one of them. Must be a lot of fun to see jaws drop when you only use the Super Midget. :D

Looking forward to hearing how things go today.

First time with this duo. Outside venue with no foh subs. And it didn't disappoint. Not that I had any doubt. Running the cabs with an Epifani UL 901 ( upgraded 501 by Nick himself ) this pair could level that place.

The BB2 is also listed as an 8 Ohm cab. I really just want a single cab solution at the moment, and the 210s has switchable impedance. My amp is an Aguilar AG7, so I'd like to be able to take advantage of all those 700 watts - in case I actually need them.

Just wondering if the BB2 can really get loud enough as a single cab solution. Or maybe he can make one as a 4 Ohm for special order?

I've got some back problems and a super lightweight cab that can really push 800 watts would be awesome.

I sold my D800 to get a D800+ about two years ago, but I have played the D800 (and my D800+ after it) through my One10 at home. Sounded great and I never heard any sign of stress from the One10, but I also never turned up the gain and master to a ridiculous level. The web page for the One10 does says it safe for up to 500W if you run a clean tone. Not sure I'd put it to that kind of test, but mine handled my Mesa heads just fine and sounded great doing it. Put out surprising volume, too.

I haven't gigged my One10, though. I use one or both of my BB2's for that.

I would if I had a D800. I happily put an Aguilar AG700 and 800 watt Thunderfunk through a One10 at home with no problems. I play a 5 string bass and I would feel a little uncomfortable just using 1 One10 on a gig, so I use 2. These are pretty small gigs. For everything else I use 2 Barefaced 112's.

Hello everyone, I need an advice.
I received a second-hand Super Compact in this condition. It was supposed to be new, but even with the damage suffered during the transport, it looks like it was damaged before the shipping, and the seller tried to hide the damage - that is the only way I can explain these traces of glue or permanent marker (I'm not sure what it is).
Would it be worth it to keep it and have it repaired (if that's even possible)? Thank you!!

Yes that cab was damaged before shipping for sure. I would get a refund on that.
