I match them. It depends on what I'm going for and the room. If their is an keys player I might bump up the tweeter response.try to find the right blend. With The Sm on top, closer to your ears you will hear that more. It won't really matter what the BB2 is set at. Imo

Not sure with the BF cabs, but, FWIW, with my two 2x12 Markbass cabs, stacked vertically, I turn off the tweeter on the bottom cab and adjust the top tweeter to suit. This may or may not help..!

If I'm playing my P bass I don't have a lot of top end in my sound. There's a lot more in the Jazz bass. I want what there is to be projected loud and clear. I have both tweeters turned up about somewhere between 50% and 80%.

I"m not 100% sure, but don't the tweeter controls on these two cabinets behave differntly? I know that the tweeter control on my BB2's isn't actually a level control - it controls the crossover frequency. So lower the crossover frequency to everything above about 4KHz go to the tweeter and give you a very accurate, full range sound from the cabient. Or raise the raise the frquency anywhere up to 10KHz so that the woofer provides most of your sound and, as you raise it more, you get a more traditional, vintage-ish tone from the cabinet. If I'm not mistaken, the Super Midget tweeter has a "traditional" level control.

If I'm correct, that means you have some intereting options for controlling you high end with that combination of cabinets. I don't have a Super Midget, so I can't suggest any settings.

First outing with the SuperTwin. I received it as Covid hit and I usually go ampless but needed to take her for a spin. Verrrrry nice

BB2 won handily in my shootout, but I get the feeling that the majority of people would choose to take the F112's bass bump over the even-handed response of the BB2, and I understand why. With that kind of an increase in bass, I found it kind of showroom-tastic, but I thought it was at the expense of clarity, which the low end seemed to mask. I lost the note in the unbalance of it. BB2 also had better dispersion, a more transparent cabinet sound resulting in an even response, and the ability to take any absurd amount of EQ and still sound amazing.

I agree. I hate the finish on the 12 inch cabs, and the handles on all of them. A few yrs back I had a couple of One 10s and the vinyl was fragile. I miss having one of those and ordered another 2 weeks ago-supposedly the gluing process has improved….I hope so.

Saving for an amp head, Im wondering if the Barefaced six10 with the Orange AD200B can keep up with two marshall 4x12 guitar stacks.

Since the Barefaced have such an incredible high RMS powerhandling, I guess it will make every 200w in that Orange punch real good right?

Looks like some thinks this head dont go as loud with 115 and 410 cabs :p

Can anybody comment on how close a pair of Two10's could get me to the Ampeg fridge sound?
I've been using my NV610 lately and it kills, but it can be a little difficult to move around. I'd love to move to a more modular setup.

I've also toyed with getting a Four10 and maybe a Two10 to go with it, or even three Two10's. The Four10 would likely cover me for most gigs. I'm in a fairly loud rock band. We're a power trio, so my bass is pretty up front in the mix and I like to be loud and heard…

Whatever combination, they will be used with an SVT II non pro, an SVT II-Pro, or a 400+

I've got a ton of experience with BB2's, I used three of them for the last few years. One could cover some of the smaller gigs very well, two covered almost everything else, and three covered the super loud outdoor gigs without PA support. I sold two of them during the pandemic…
