Official Barefaced Bass Cab Club

That goal was what started my DIY cab process that became Barefaced!

I'm still waiting to receive my cabs, but I'm sure I'll love them based on the feedback I've read.

I primarily run DI to the house and my on stage cab is more of a monitor so I can hear myself. Even if I'm using IEM's it's nice to have that cab on stage. I have played a few gigs where the ear mix was so bad that I had to pop them out. I'm not normally singing, so as long as I can hear the drums and my bass...I can do just fine. Having a good cab on stage is essential to me. I've been running a RevSound 115 I picked up used until my Barefaced BT3 arrives. I also picked up a One10T for my practice space at home and it's fine if that cab has some color to it which it is supposed to.

An Eight10?! Did you see Alex's description of the Eight10 on his website - Total overkill, buy a Six10 instead.

I suspect he's right, but I'd still love to hear an Eight10 and form my own opinion. :D

No no, a sealed LDS 610 and an Ampeg Fridge. I want to sell them, assuming my new cabs work out as well as I hope.

That said, I would also like to experience a Barefaced Eight10 for similar reasons!

Yep, and you do need another BB3!!

The difference in cab width doesn't bother me. I put my SC on it's side with an SM on top and get exactly the same look as you.

Think of it as good therapy for your OCD.

Or possibly to OCD Big Twin owners who'd like to stack a BB3 on their BT2/BT3! ;) Side benefit is hopefully ending the assumption that a BB should be stacked on an SC if you want a 2x12XN rig - they're different and don't work brilliantly together (dual BB3 or SM+BB3 is great - as is dual SM, dual SC or SM+SC, it's just SC+BB2/BB3 that clashes a bit sonically).

Wow, that's the size difference between the BB2 and the BB3?! I didn't realize that.

Would love to hear your thoughts on how they sound compared to each other.
