Dang, I didn't realize they had been sold either. I live in Indy and have been known to venture up to Gearfest every couple of years.
Anyway, I'm getting antsy for my cabs, too! Not upset about the wait, just excited to get them.
Hang in there. The cabs are really really good. I am a huge skeptic and I don't buy in to marketing hype. But the Barefaced stuff is the real deal. My little One10T is the best sounding cabinet I've ever owned. I love the dang thing. No, it won't go as loud as a 4x10...but hey...Barefaced makes those! I just use the One10T for my practice area and if I play a small acoustic gig (brother is a banjo player...so I do the bluegrass thing every now and then). It's perfect for that. And when they say it goes down to 30hz...they aren't lying. The open low B is thunderous. It's just amazing.
My Big Twin 3 is also really good. Not colored like the One10. But honestly, I haven't played out with it yet so it's still not broken in. I played it in my house and pictures on my wall were all crooked and things fell off shelves. My ears were ringing. It's ungodly loud...but still clean. Most cabs when you run them that hard fart out...not the BT3. You can easily damage your hearing.
I'm a BEADG active player with a SC. I've had a Quilter BB800 and it was great. Also a TC Electronic BH250 (underpowered for the cab on stage) and now a BH800.
I'm thinning the herd, so I've sold my BB800. My TC Elec. BH800 is currently for sale if you're interested.
Doing a little experimentation with DI vs LI and what arrives from France...my Baby Sumo. It's a great compliment to the One10T. Killer lightweight rig.
Great customer service too. I ordered mine on Friday and it arrived from FRANCE...today. So four days (which included a weekend) for it to arrive and supposedly it takes extra modification to ship the 120v version.
Very happy with it...and it is very light. I think it said 3.3lbs.

There are bigger Sumos (1000, 1200 watt) also available. I also had fast service from GSS. Just a very satisfied customer.
Yep. I nearly bought the bigger one. I use a 1000w SVT-7 Pro live so I already had a high power amp. I just wanted a small, light, portable option for when I do lower volume gigs with my One10T.
It seems to be a great little amp. Very transparent...as you would expect it to be.
It is nowhere near those ratings and probably quite a downgrade from what you already have.
If the RH750 is one of those TC heads whose power management system limits them to some 240W RMS, the Veyron is definitely an upgrade in terms of power: although nowhere near 2000W under commonly-accepted metrics, IIRC it has been bench-tested to 600-700 "real", RMS watts. Tone-wise I wouldn't know, but I do know the Mosfet version is well-regarded.
I would still look elsewhere. Even if it somehow gives you more power, that doesn't mean it will sound better. Just not a big fan of Behringer amps.
Hello! I'm looking at picking up a Two10S and later a Six10, just curious if anyone around the Saint Louis, Missouri area has one they wouldn't mind me trying. It's a big risk, not cheap and no returns, so if someone would be kind enough to let me run my ampeg through some iteration of the 10CR cabinets, I'd be very grateful
Bugera is definitely not near those ratings, however I have the BV1001T and it is an extremely loud head. I use it as a back up to my larger gigs. As someone said, not sure if this would really be an upgrade. I like mine a lot but my WD800 blows its doors off.
Barefaced should stay a boutique provider in my opinion. Alex is the real deal, he cares.
If they are profitable and enjoy the work then, as the traditional saying goes, "carry on".
Their products AND service are second-to-none.
And they will always have a backlog of orders...so if you are willing to wait 9mos-24mos for a custom bass I think 3mos-6mos for a custom cabinet is a small concession. That's right, custom. If something is hand-made and the builder allows input prior to the build that's the definition of custom.
The alternative is having an assembly line of mildly interested employees bolting crap together just for a paycheck. Then the efficiency and cost cops collude with the bean counters to target where to swing their sharpened sickle...I'll pass.

Why not have both?
Lots of companies offer custom hand built products at a premium price but also have a "licensed" or offshore product that is often just as good as the hand built stuff for a fraction of the cost. The cost of a producing a product is mostly the labor. If you scaled up and automated the building of the cabs you could build them faster and for less expense using the same quality materials.
A great example of this is the Dingwall Combustion basses. They are excellent quality but are made overseas. Same with the Lakland Skyline basses. Nordstrand Acynonix basses. Even PRS has builds done overseas and they are excellent products.
I understand that some folks want the items they own to be exclusive and show they they dropped a lot of money on something. Hence why you don't see a Rolex crafted by Timex or a Korean made Lamborghini. But like the old saying goes, "Sell to the classes and live with the masses. Sell to the masses and live with the classes".
