It can definitely do some harm though, fyi. It's great for cleaning that gooey, sticky mess that tape can leave on certain xlr cables and stuff after a long time for example.

Hi all! I'm planning on joining the BF Club shortly. After some consulting with Alex, I'm gonna get myself a SCT (and possibly a second one, in the future). It could probably pair well with my PF-50T, but I'm going to get another head to run as my main rig.

What are you all using with your SC/SCTs? I'm just looking for ideas as far as amps to pair with it, because of all the options I'm aware of, I'm not super inspired by most of the ones I have heard. Totally open to suggestion as far as tonal preferences go.

Currently, my pick is the Mesa WD-800, for its portability, its EQ section, and its power dampener/power tube emulation. I haven't truly settled on it, mostly because when I've gone to play it in store, the cab selection has been less than inspiring... But I'll soon be able to borrow a friends, where I can spend time to plug it in to my own cabs and try it in headphones and such. Its power tube emulation is of particular interest to me, because I like to use pedal preamps and cab simulation, and since that feature works on stuff

Since that feature works on things you send in to the effects return, it could be a neat little tonal variation for my other preamps.

Got my BB3 the other day. DHL did a great job and totally kept me in the loop concerning delivery time. No added duty. Arrived in perfect condition and looks great. So far really liking the sound but haven't been able to open it up yet, only playing it in my small music room. Gigs starting up next month. I do love the form factor. Weight very reasonable and like that is it taller and thinner than say the Mesa Subway 115, it is also 10 pounds lighter. Not dissing the Subway, it is a great sounding cab but doesn't work well for me size wise and from what I hear so far the BB3 sounds at least as good.

Kids and wife were gone this evening... Was able to play my newly acquired TT-800 through one of my BB3s.. That is money!! Sound is tight, a little gnarly on the boogie channel. Cleaner and more polite on the subway channel. The cab is amazing. What I truly love about the barefaced BB3's is how clean they sound, from thunderous lows to the highs. Never harsh like standard tweeters. Will be able to run 2x BB3s with the TT-800 at practice on Friday. I only need one - but I'll take two just because I have them. Will be good to hear what it sounds like wide open in a large room.

When I moved them, I noticed that the top cab's rubber feet had left circular "ring" marks in the finish of the bottom cab. There weren't any unusual circumstances (e.g. no direct sunlight, nothing else stacked on top, etc.).

I found at least a couple of other people's BB cabs with the same issue, so I think this is something inherent with the acrylic finish on the 12XN cabs.

Fortunately I think I noticed it while it's not THAT bad, and it's definitely not ruining my high opinion of the cabs, or Barefaced overall.

But if anyone has any input for the following questions, it would be much appreciated!

- Is there a recommended way to avoid this? E.g. is it a "known" practice to place some type of non-reactive foam pad between stacked cabinets (or an amp on top)? If so, any recommendations?
- Does anyone know of any reasonably straightforward way to restore the finish? If it's as simple as buying some Granotone and carefully painting over the rings (or example), I think I could handle that.
- I also have a couple of stacked 10CR cabs, but these are a different finish (tolex). Has anyone experienced the same thing with the tolex cabs?

I have that on my Barefaced cabs. It's very slight but it's there. I don't consider it a knock on Barefaced or anything. It's just a thing that happens. Doesn't affect the durability or playability so I don't concern myself too much with it. As
Far as preventing it, I'm not sure. High performance

great amp. My favorite besides the Aguilar DB751. And the BF cabs can more than handle that head. The head ran out of juice before the super twin did. The Aguilar on the other hand…man that amp has headroom.

That silver grille looks very pretty. I'm kind of sad that cloth and metal grilles aren't interchangeable, because I sort of want cloth, but for me there are pros and cons, so I was hoping that if I went with metal, I could change my mind later and buy/install a cloth grille...
