Please unpack it immediately, or get someone else to do it! It's rare for a cab to be damaged in shipping but if the damage isn't reported almost immediately it becomes very difficult for us to make an insurance claim. We now put stickers on the boxes that say "open immediately" for this reason.

Finally got the new BB3 out last week for the initial live experience with two bands. I reached the driver limits with 400 watts (8 ohms) from the TT800 as expected. It did an admirable job handling everything up to breakup, but there had to be more volume in there. Then I cranked the HPF on both channels to the 1-2 o'clock area, far more than the initial setting I tried, cut the bass EQ back some and the magic happened. Plenty of volume with a single loud / clean guitar amp and drums. And it had more with very honest and awesome tone 
I've got the HX Stomp in the effects loops and have lots of exploring to do there. The TT preamps sound so good that I may be leaving amp models behind, just some EQ, drive and reverbs. Will be checking out the cab models and some 3rd party IRs and see what that brings to the FRFR mix. Such a great cab that's a joy to transport.

@Superbird Are you sure the cab was breaking up? I've put 1,550 watts of subwoofer test tracks through a pair of bb3's. Hpf set at 30hz. The crown xls-1502 hit its limiter before any distortion was noticed from the cabs. My pair of bb3s are clean with my tt-800 until a little after the limit light comes on from the amp, then some distortion is noticed from the power amp of the tt-800
Absolutely sure. It was your typical fart out that I've heard many times pushing smaller cabs too hard. I was very surprised to hear that come from the BB3. I primarily play roots music at levels no where near the typical 2 guitar rock band SPL. I did some break in with some bass heavy tracks, but not a lot of it. Maybe the driver is still breaking in? I didn't notice the limit light indicating, but I wasn't specifically looking for it. Will check that in the future.
The mighty Eight10 is in da house...safe and sound. It sounds unbelievable!
Like Alex said/says....it's total overkill! But I love overkill! Obviously.
The Six10 is amazing and much easier to move around, but the big Eight10 is still slim enough to roll through doorways easily.
I've always wanted an SVT cab...this is better option in my opinion. I may never use it live in a band situation, but I have it! And love it. That said, I WILL use the mighty Eight10 if given half the chance. If not, my Six10 and Two10's are smaller options.
As I've stated before, I'm more of a guitarist, but have probably made more $$ playing bass than guitar. Will play either in the best situation.
And on to the sonic soundscape... I was surprised that the Eight and Six sound more different than I thought. While the Six10 leaves nothing to be desired as far as tone, the Eight10 seems to have more mids and treble than the Six10. Part of that is the height of the cab and two extra speakers closer to my ears, but it seems there is something else. Maybe because it's factory fresh. And the lows are even deeper. It has everything! I didn't think twice about the tweeter and I was correct. No need for my application. I'm an old school rock player that dabbles in a little of everything and this/these cabs are perfect for my sound.
I admit I would like to try a Super Twin and thought about it, but I am beyond happy!!

AND....If you think that is overkill.....you should experience THIS!! Fourteen10's into 2 ohm's!!

I too am surprised by this. I have cranked an 800+ into a single bb2 or a single super midget many times without a hint of farting out. They love power, in fact I bought a Bergantino hp just so I could feed 600 watts at 8 ohms into the bb2. It soaked it up on a big stage without a hint of an issue and I like a clean bass tone.

I think that too. At first I thought the Eight10 had more mid's and high's, but I think that's because I can hear the top two 10's more. I've been pounding it all day too so I think it's starting to even out a little.
All three sound great. The Two10 is VERY surprising although it's at my condo down in Florida and not with the other two right now. I haven't been able to crank it up as much as the other two. Hoping to gig all three at some point soon. The Two10 would probably work great at most gig's although the other two look more stage worthy.
Maybe I'm just old school....I know I'm old!!...LOL
I think the question behind the question was if your 810 sounds the same as or different than your 610 + 210, when comparing them. I'll be interested in knowing that too.
I haven't tried that as the two cabs are in different parts of the country.

Exactly!!! Just the way I like it!!I'm sure when you hook up the 810 you can be heard in every part of the country
It sounds fantastic at lower volumes too.
This is definitely not something I needed, but something I've always wanted.
An SVT type cab, but better, lighter weight and everything else that's great about Barefaced!
