Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks since Super Compact T arrived. Haven't see a tariff bill yet.
I dunno how Alex does it, honestly. Looks black, but sounds so transparent it must be made outta glass.
Every one of my playing flubs instantly obvious. I'll just have to get better I guess!
So after resetting everything flat per Barefaced recommendation, treble a bit high. Currently treble turned down on the amp (Quilter 803), but anyone have recommendation whether to prefer amp or the tweeter control on the cab?

When I decided to have my baffles painted after my initial order, Barefaced was ahead of schedule and had already shipped
the two cabs. The rascals! My friend spray painted my cabs today. Very happy! One10T and One10.

Getting ready to pull the trigger and joining the Barefaced club, but I can't decide which setup to go with.
Searching for the best solution with sound, filling the room and portability in mind. Price is also a factor, but to a lesser extent.
My current thoughts is that I want something portable that can cover most if not all of my gigs (small-medium size venues and outdoor gigs).
I'm trying to decide between a Super Twin T and a BB3 + SMT for a flexible rig.
Anyone got any thought on these up against each other?
I'm mainly playing original music in the jazz realm with the occasional wedding/party gig.

Portability + one and done would persuade me of the ST-t.
I always want two cabs for modularity.
Currently, I own and use One10 and Two10.
One10 for home, rehearsals and gigs to which I travel by public transportation.
Two10 for gigs to which I travel by car.
Both cabs for gigs without PA.

I sometimes throw outdoor shows for bands and backline all the sound.
My main thing I want is loudness and clarity.
I just don't know which cabinet to commit to.

In short, 10 inch cabs and 12 inch cabs are built with very different speakers, so they sound different: the ten's sound "warm" and the twelve's sound "accurate". But the 10's don't lack clarity at all.
There are also a lot of videos on their YouTube channel, for me this one is the best to demo the tone difference between all models, IMHO. It only covers the 5 "small" models, but essentially all 10CR cabs sound like the Two10 with more or less volume, and the 2x12 are louder versions of the 1x12:
- The Super Twin sounds like a louder Super Compact
- The Big Twin sounds like a louder Big Baby
Last, I would personally prefer the Three10 over the Four10 because the vertical layout gives it a smaller footprint, it's probably easier to carry as well, and the upper speaker is closer to ear level. All Barefaced cabs being super efficient, you can expect the Three10 to be louder than most 4x10 in the industry.
I have a One10 and a Super Compact and I love them both. If I had a car, I would hesitate between a Three10 and a Super Twin. I think you can't go wrong with either.

Hi, my profile is pretty similar to yours. With P and Jazz basses, I've been using Aguilar amps through Barefaced cabs for the last 10+ years. I have a bad back so I mix and match the Barefaced 112 cabs. I used to run 2 Super Compacts, then switched to SC / SM, then added a BB2 to the SM for the louder bands. I'd suggest the BT3 is overkill. The Super Twin or even the Three10 would sound great.
Having a 10CRA closer to ear level is a very nice Three10 thing 
I've been gettting used to my second BF cab for upright. Had a One10T already that I paired with an ACME B1, but was needing more power for certain situations so I ordered a BB3, but Alex advised I lean towards the SMT instead. It came in a month ago and is just now (seemingly, not trying to start an argument here…) starting to 'break in' and open up on the bottom end. At first I was leaning heavy into preamps to dial it in, but now that it's opening up it seems best with minimal preamp intervention. I love it. Still wondering if I'm 'missing' anything on the low end by not getting the BB3, but only theoretically because too much lows can be a problem with upright and I am not noticing anything 'lacking' here. A+, 10/10, would recommend.

As long as it sounds how you want, you didn't leave anything on the table... I usually use a HPF, never miss the low end that I'm cutting. Maybe a little headroom with the BB3 and a better horn if that matters... Good looking cab! For what it is worth, I've never wished my two BB3s were smaller. Alex makes great products. Never had a chance to play anything but my BB3s - super impressed with the 12xn driver.
Had the first gig in a difficult room with the new cab (and new bass! - '55 King!) tonight and it performed admirably. One trip schlep from the car, MBOL, solos rang out clear as a bell, pleeeeeenty of headroom left to explore - couldn't ask for anything more! Happy New Year, you lot.

my, im getting antsy. how are peoples orders going? ordered my SM oct 22.
They are selling too many cabs, they can't keep up - we should stop promoting them
