"Official" Carvin and Kiesel Club - Part 3

Double posting because this deserves its own post:

5 string Vanquish bass with 17mm string spacing, exists! Currently in stock!

Time to save my money.

Does Carvin ( I just cant seem to bring myself to call it a "Kiesel"...) have any basses that come standard with 17mm spacing? That is what made me love my B5 (and my 1989 LB75 I picked up recently). I just cant get into 19mm spacing on my B50.

The Icon and LB both come standard as 17mm for the 5 strings. 19mm is an option. I have a 17mm Icon 5. I have girly hands which love the narrow spacing.

This Vanquish would be the only bolt-on 17mm 5 string in their current line-up.

Thanks for the info. I knew my LB75 was 17mm but it is an 89 model. I suppose I could always swap out the bridge to something with a smaller spacing on my B50...

Yeah I really really like the way the Zeus guitar looks... but the guitar models seem to always look better than the basses. Not that the Aries, Vader and Vanquish basses don’t look good, but the guitars just look like the body was designed for them and then it was changed a little to work on bass. Yes, even the Vanquish which was a bass before a guitar! IMHO of course.

He said in last nights live video no multi scale bass. He said he’s not ruling it out in the future, but there are no plans for it now.
Ah I missed that, still I think I like the design a little more than the Vader. I'm just not a fan of the Vanquish body shape and don't want to get multiscale on a bodyshape I'm not a fan. Never had a single cut bass either so still a first for headless and singlecut.
