Hey all, Carvin is offering $100 worth of free options on new bass orders right now. Just thought you might want to know. 
Thanks. I don't think I've ever played 2 more comfortable basses. They sound even better. Carvin really has it going on right now. Extremely under-appreciated instruments IMHO.
So I hope this is the right place to ask this...
I'm considering buying a new Carvin LB series off the website. Wanted to get a six string with the piezo option thrown in there...Only problem is, I have no way to test a Carvin bass out before I try it, let alone the one I want to pick up.
So the question I have is...how are the fit an finish on these basses? Worth the money? Quality build? What's the tone like? (going with the twin humbuckers) Reliable?

Fit and finish is top quality. You can't beat them with any mass produced bass. The humbuckers are nice sounding pickups, although I prefer the J99a.
I've owned a few basses in my 14 years of playing, and fondled quite a few more. My Icon is by far the most comfortable, best sounding bass I've owned. The construction, finish, tone, and overall quality are absolutely top notch. I didn't have an amp when I first got it, and was really disappointed that I wouldn't get to hear it, but the resonance was so clean and clear that I knew what she sounded like before I plugged her in.
My next bass will be a Carvin; probably the next too. I called in to order, and the guy absolutely new his stuff and helped me make a few decisions I was torn about. They're all really helpful, great customer service/support. I have nothing but great things to say about the company and their products.
A huge +1 to all of these. I own 2 different models of Carvins and my next bass will most likely be another Carvin. Impossible to beat at their price point IMHO.

I just don't hear or a see a whole of them on TB much so I was really in the dark about their quality and sound. The ones I have had a chance to lay my eyes on have been absolutely stunning though.

I have four Carvins now. I'd really like to take some nice photos of them and submit them to the Carvin Museum.
New guy Here, just wanted to say hello and show my newly acquired 2001 Carvin Lb75. This is my first Carvin not to mention the first I have even had the pillage to play. I have found the bass I have been looking for all my life. Everything about this bass is a perfect fit for me.

What do you all use for the natural finish on your bass. I used to have a Lacewood TOBIAS I used linseed oil on but not sure wants best for Walnut? Any advice is appreciated

I think Carvin recommends Olde English furniture polish. I just use a very little fretboard oil once in a great while on my tung oiled koa LB70.

Yes, they use the same neck.
