Deja vu - I also have 2 FX75-B Flangers, but one sounds totally different on identical settings. Any reason why? I’m talking you can’t tell the second one is even on until all the knobs are cranked. It’s been months since I played it, but pretty sure I tested it out when I bought it and it seemed identical. Just cleaned the jacks and pots, might take it apart soon and see what it looks like.

Anybody know what the trimpots control? Could one of them have gone wacky?

That was one of my first pedals! :) That and the DOD bass Compressor. I bought the flanger because Billy Gould from Faith No More was using one at the time. I never realized it had trimpots inside? It's still a great pedal! I should pick one up again. Enjoy yours!

After cleaning, mine is mostly back to normal. Amazing what cleaning some pots and jacks can do! It’s still slightly more subtle than the other, but not bad. I’ll run it through with more cleaner soon and see what happens.

It’s all the newer stuff. Man the 250 is taken over as my OD of choice. The one on my bass board made its way onto my guitar board so I figured I’m gonna need two. I’m hoping the Carcosa fills my fuzz needs I had the newer Russian muff but it ended up on the guitar board also.

I had to go boutique for a muff, though the Russian Pickle is pretty darn good on bass. Always had a slight treble boost/harshness, though, so not perfect for my tastes. One of my favorites, though, is the DOD Classic Fuzz. I have one for guitar and bass. Very compressed, wide range on the tone, and can cover all sorts of ground from low gain fuzzstortion to all out fuzzed madness. Beats most fuzzes I’ve tried, until I spent a ton of cash on “boutique” level stuff. The Carcosa is likely as versatile, but with a different base tone to work with, and a bit quicker to dial something in with its various controls, than fine-tuning the three knobs on the Classic Fuzz. Enjoy!
