Picked up this one so I have two now. Not as giddy about this one though.

Well I don't 'despise' them, but I don't like the Sterling or the single pickup SR5 (same sterling electronics) either. Been there, don't care to own them again.
I'm just a Stingray (& Sabre) kinda guy...
Same here bro. Love those 3
how does she play
i wish ebonywood was a factory option for the Stingray.
Newest addition to my family... so what's my number?
I've played a BUNCH of different MM basses, but this is the first one I've actually owned.
Black Cherry Burst, maple, pearl pickguard. Only 9.3 pounds! Pretty light for an SR5, but KILLER tone and plays great too. New/current model with the compensating nut.
I tried a couple HH's, but I really miss series mode, and as far as I can tell, the single H model is the only one that has that. I know the HH doesn't, and I'm pretty sure the HS doesn't, either.
Thanks to the folks at Bass Central for putting up with all my requests and cutting me a great deal.
Anyway... obligitories...

^^ Looks like the volume knob is either missing or replaced with a non original.
