Picked up this one so I have two now. Not as giddy about this one though.

Newest addition to my family... so what's my number? :)

I've played a BUNCH of different MM basses, but this is the first one I've actually owned.

Black Cherry Burst, maple, pearl pickguard. Only 9.3 pounds! Pretty light for an SR5, but KILLER tone and plays great too. New/current model with the compensating nut.

I tried a couple HH's, but I really miss series mode, and as far as I can tell, the single H model is the only one that has that. I know the HH doesn't, and I'm pretty sure the HS doesn't, either.

Thanks to the folks at Bass Central for putting up with all my requests and cutting me a great deal. :)

Anyway... obligitories :)...

Sweeet!

Guys!

I played a EBMM SR5 20th Anniversary yesterday!!

What a great sounding bass!!!! It had the best tone I have ever heard and I tried it through a crappy 15 watt Fender Rumble.:hyper:

I just don't NEED a new $2500CAD bass and I have 4 high end 5ers currently.

I must asmit, I seriously considered eBaying the Bongo 5 and Lakland 55-02 to fund this baby though.:bassist:

sorry if there's something already posted, I haven't gone through all the pages yet, and my search yielded nothing...

any of you guys have clips of fretted vs fretless for the Stingrays? local shop doesn't have any fretless Stingrays in stock. I love my SR, and my next bass will be fretless, but I don't know if I want a fretless SR
