Please don't wait for something amazing, just a small light stripes on the neck, between 0 and 3rd frets (in the other places are not so noticeble).

And again, i can be wrong - that could be a generic maple, not a flamed (i dont know much about wood structures).

ps: sorry for my english.

Hey! I have posted a few times, but never asked for a member number.. We still doing that?
I actuall have a few EBMM's. Currently I have~
2007 EBMM SR HH Natural w/Maple board. It was bought because of the maple fretboard and only played
twice since it only has 4 strings.

Just received and unwrapped a Stingray 20th Ann. 5er HH. What a super bass! Quality all the way! And the tone.......can make it sound like my Fender Jazz or growl like only an MM can! I may switch some amp equipment, but I'm set on axes. I hope I have the desire to play my other basses after being hypnotized by this beauty.......Later, gotta thump some more! Bud

Went to Bass Central yesterday with some friends from PSOM... several of us tried the Bongo 6, and were really impressed. One thing I didn't like- the fingerboard edges... anyone else think they feel kinda sharp? Anyway, on of the guys bought a Sterling 5, which I played with a bit a liked... reminds me of a smaller version of my SR5.

Can I join? I've got one of the very first EBMM's- a 1986 in trans-teal with a clear pickguard. It's got a bullet trussrod, 2-band EQ, and a skunk stripe on the somewhat-flamey maple neck. It's basically identical to an original Music Man, except for the tiny "Ernie Ball" designation over the headstock label. It even says "Music Man StingRayBass". Here's my lady and I with it at a photo-shoot last year:
