Currently rocking an ESP B50, but looking to purchase one of their new models... should have the money by the end of the month. The five string F series looks pretty sweet. Well, maybe not "sweet" more of "weird" but I like it, it looks unique. Tried it out in the store and it felt pretty good. There was a LOT of fret buzz though - is this common on this model? Anyone here play one of those?

I have an F255FM. Its an awesome bass! As for the buzz its most likely the setup on it. The ESP/LTD stuff doesnt always come with the best factory setups. Even in the US they are inspected here by ESP before they are sent out to the stores, but can be hit or miss. My F255FM had a little buzz when I got it, but as always I take my basses in for new strings and a professional setup. My nephew got a B155FM that was 100% perfect out of the box. Perfect action and setup! Get it! Most stores offer setups when you buy from them, but I dont trust them.
Thanks Alex! I'm ordering mine soon. If it isn't set up right, I might see if I can fix it myself - I'm kind of a DIY kinda guy - but if not I'll definitely take it in to get set up by a pro. Good to know that the bass isn't a bad decision.

Count me in. I recently picked up an '03 ESP LTD Deluxe J-1005. It had a bit of an intonation problem with the B-string but Billw97 from Hipshot, modified a saddle to allow it enough travel for proper intonation.
I've also upgraded the BTS preamp system for 18v. That really made a difference in tonal depth.
Spacing is tighter than my Laklands, but the construction is really first-rate and I like it a whole lot.

Finally picked up my Surveyor 405 two weeks ago. The second I plugged this bad boy in, I knew that I had found the bass that I was looking for. The low end on this thing is absolutely thunderous, and I have a thing for natural finishes and maple fretboards. For $800, I blew my load right then and there and took it home with me.

I have one and recently sold another Lakland Shoreline. Shorelines are made by ESP for the domestic market only and they are great, the best basses I've played so far, including a few Anniversary Fenders USA and MMs.

I love it, plays like a dream 
I also have the B-206, Mine has the earlier finish (I can't decide which is better!) and It plays amazingly!

Here's my Viper 304. Great for playing metal and rock and does fine jamming on funk and blues as long as I choose wisely how to shape the sound with my Zoom b2.1u. And yes, the gloss black finish gathers fingerprints like a C.S.I. detective working on commission.
This bad boy is just about 8 years old.... about one third of my life span.... still love it. was my first "real" bass and it still sees a couple of gigs a year. Still impresses me when i plug it in and its easy to play. Frets are a little dirty. dont mind them.
