Great basses - I was watching that one, you got a great deal! I have the tobacco and creme ones. I added Badass II's for more punch, but the stock bridge is fine, and they come with the SJB-2's which are my favorite pickups. Enjoy!

Well I've been wanting to check out a set of Basslines, I guess this is 1 way to do that!!

(You) owning several, sounds like you really like them, hope they have the same effect on me!

A few months ago, I bought an LTD Vintage 204 body from another TB'er (he had the bass f/s fretless) and added a Mighty Mite neck & EMG pickeups. Nice bass for what it is, but I've been lusting after the real deal ESP since I 1st saw them. Price new is kinda steep, so I've been watching ebay & biding my time. In this instance it worked out pretty well.

I've been eyeing gone of these myself. Please let us know what you think!

edit: Actually, I'd probably only be able to afford the Edwards version... but still, pretty sweet looking bass!

I forgot to update this, anyway my brother-in-law bought this one.

Incredible bass, but was a bit on the heavy side for me pushing 11lb, but sounds incredible!

I ended up buying a MIJ Vintage P-J, which I love!

I purchased the Bassmute from Ellio Martina but haven't installed it yet, should go well with the chromes :)

I still have the ESP BTL-STD 5 string, but am still selling it. Not trying too hard as it is a great bass but I would sell it if I get a decent offer.

Excellent! I hadn't forgotten about it so I'm glad you posted. I have an ESP AP250 SL5 (which I should post as well) and it is also really heavy. Over 11lbs for sure. I am a little surprised that the Amaze is that heavy as well. I was kind of hoping that the high end ESP's would be lighter. My AP is a top-notch instrument though, it feels and sounds great... for as long as I can stand to wear it.

I have an Edwards Bardic as well as an Edwards Buzz and they are both heavy. Is there anyone with an ESP version of either than could say how much they weigh?

yeah, I was hoping it would be 'sadowsky weight' but was just too much of a backbreaker for me since I turned 40 :)

My ESP BTL-STD 5 isn't bad and right around 9.5-10lb along with my vintage PJ, but the Amaze weight was a noticable difference.

I think you will dig it. The MIJ stuff is a whole different world than the Ltds, which aren't bad instruments. The resale on the Vintage 4's has been terrible which is unfortunate, but it makes for some great deals out there. I still want a black one.

Picked this up for a great price its my 1st 5.

only thing that bums me out is i wanted to change the bridge (dont dig the vintage one too much)but there arent many options for a six screw bridge. Ill live with it though i wanted to put a Babciz on but i dont want to fill and drill

new bass player and new ltd owner all in one(still paying it off through gc)

Just picked up a ltd viper 304, sounds amazing and love how I can make it sound like a jazz bass, then a metal bass, then anything else. So versatile, and so beautiful.

Ive read several things in threads here that seem to knock LTD for the Metal thing. I dont get it, I just joined and wondering now, is this an all around bass player site or more dedicated to certain types of music? I play everything, but wanted to check before I try to blend in with people who dont want me to. Just wondering. Seems like a good site, also just ordered a B55 LTD.
